Today is a day filled with gratitude and hope for New Leyte Elementary School.

We honor and thank Sir Rey A. Rocete, our outgoing Principal, for his years of faithful service, steady leadership, and genuine care for both learners and teachers. Through challenges and victories, you guided us with patience, wisdom and a heart for service. Your dedication has built a strong foundation that we will continue to uphold.

We also welcome Sir Jerry L. Laos as our new Head Teacher II with open hearts and high hopes. Together, we look forward to a brighter chapter for our learners.

Thank you to the parents, students, teachers, and school heads of Maco South District for joining us and making this ceremony meaningful.

New Leyte Elementary School successfully held its End of School Year (EOSY) General PTA Assembly last March 27, 2026.

The event marked a significant milestone in the school's calendar, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the school administration, led by School Principal Rey A. Rocete, PTA, and stakeholders in promoting quality education and student welfare. It also served as an opportunity for parents, teachers, and officials to come together, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility for the school's continued growth and success. The event concluded on a positive note, looking forward to continued partnerships and achievements in the upcoming school year.

The school extends its sincerest gratitude to Hon. Isidro M. Relator, Punong Barangay of Brgy. New Leyte, Kagawad Jemar Zamora, and representatives from Asia Alliance Company for gracing the event with their presence. We also thank all parents and teachers who attended, and to our stakeholders who are not present but continue to support our school 🙏.
