Turnover Ceremony at Anibongan National High School Marks New Era of Leadership

Anibongan National High School marked a significant milestone in its history with a formal Turnover Ceremony held at the ANHS Gymnasium. The event symbolized leadership continuity and the school’s commitment to quality education.

The ceremony highlighted the transition of leadership from Sir Felixberto L. Leray, outgoing Principal IV, to Sir Michael Eric L. Dandan, EdD, incoming Principal I. Both leaders were recognized for their dedication to advancing the school’s mission of fostering excellence and holistic development among students.

The event opened with the Philippine National Anthem led by Ma’am Kimberly T. Roque, followed by a heartfelt Prayer from Ma’am Arjielyn M. Abadiez.Hence, PTA Vice President Maam Charmaigne Cailing delivered the Welcome Remarks, setting a tone of gratitude and optimism.

A lively Intermission number by Maam Jade March H. Diamante and Sir Jahaziel Linambos added color to the program before Maam Florinda G. Denopol, Public Schools District Supervisor, read the Designation Order and delivered an inspiring message emphasizing leadership and service.

Thus, outgoing Principal Sir Felixberto L. Leray expressed his Message of Gratitude, acknowledging the support of faculty, staff, and stakeholders throughout his tenure. He then formally turned over the School Documents and Symbolic Key to Sir Michael Eric L. Dandan, who responded with an acceptance message, pledging to uphold the school’s vision and continue its legacy of excellence. On his message Sir Dandan also emphasized his ANHS leadership agenda which are: A-Access to Education,N-Nurturing Teacher Growth,H-Harnessing School Development,and S-Sustaining Holistic Development. He added that when everyone will work together,ANHS will become not only a place of learning but a home of dreams, growth,and transformation.

Adding to the spirit of unity, teachers from Libay Libay National High School presented a token of appreciation to Sir Dandan, symbolizing their support and solidarity with ANHS. This gesture carried special meaning, as Libay Libay National High School was Sir Dandan’s former workstation where he previously served as Principal.

Performances by the ANHS Dance Troupe energized the audience, followed by the Introduction of Faculty and Staff by Maam Agnes A. Plasquita,Master Teacher I. Afterwhich, Hon. Mervin S. Julogan, Barangay Captain, led the Pledge of Support from Stakeholders, reaffirming the community’s partnership with the school.

The ceremony concluded with Closing Remarks from Sir Roy V. Bacalso, Master Teacher I and Faculty President, who commended both principals for their leadership and dedication.
The event, hosted by Maam Kristine Loveth Q. Salamanca and Maam Junelyn B. Saren, served as a testament to the school’s enduring spirit of collaboration and progress. As Anibongan National High School continues its journey, the community looks forward to new achievements under Sir Dandan’s stewardship.

Anibongan National High School Holds First Faculty Meeting Under New Leadership

Anibongan National High School marked a new chapter in its journey as the institution held its first official meeting under the leadership of its newly appointed principal, Sir Michael Eric Dandan. The gathering was made even more significant with the presence of Education Program Supervisor in Science, Sir Emman Clarion, who graced the event and offered his support to the school community.

The meeting, attended by faculty members and staff, centered on setting the tone for collaborative leadership, academic excellence, and innovation in teaching. Sir Dandan emphasized his vision of strengthening both instructional quality and student development, highlighting the importance of teamwork and shared responsibility in achieving the school’s goals.

Sir Emman Clarion, in his inspirational message, commended the school for its commitment to science education and encouraged teachers to continue fostering curiosity and critical thinking among learners. His presence underscored the Department of Education’s support for Anibongan NHS as it transitions into this new leadership era.
