It has been a year of documenting memories and sharing truths. Today, we honor the team behind The Morsel and the Literature Club officers who made our school year meaningful.

To our advisers: thank you for your endless support and for pushing us to be better writers and leaders. To our fellow student journalists: thank you for your curiosity, your commitment to the craft, and the countless hours spent refining our work. We are proud to have been the storytellers of Blessed James Cusmano Academy Inc. this year.

On April 7, 2026, the Cusmanians came together at the BJCA Chapel for the Baccalaureate Mass and Recognition ceremony a formal occasion dedicated to commemorating academic achievements and receive blessings as they get ready for their future.

The BJCA community and local residents gathered on March 29 to celebrate Palm Sunday, starting with the blessing of palms at the school stage. Led by students and teachers dressed as apostles, a solemn procession moved through the campus and concluded with a Holy Mass at the chapel. By joining together in prayer, both the school and the local community successfully honored the beginning of Holy Week.

Parents and students from elementary to Grade 12 gathered for a day of reflection and spiritual growth during their scheduled Recollection yesterday.

The students held their sessions in their respective classrooms and the school chapel, guided by the seminarians from the SDP San Pedro Community. The facilitators shared meaningful lessons and activities to help the students reflect on their journey and faith.

At the same time, the parents attended a special lecture led by Rev. Fr. Ronel L. Sarte, sdP. It was a valuable opportunity for both parents and students to bond, recharge, and strengthen their spiritual connection as one community.

Blessed James Cusmano Academy, Inc. celebrated the third day of its Feast Day and Family Day on March 14, 2026.

The celebration began with a lively parade with students and parents, followed by an energetic Zumba session to get everyone moving. It was a special time for families to bond, share meals, and enjoy being together as one community.

The program also featured talented students from every grade level. They performed exciting Hip Hop dances and a meaningful Speech Choir piece titled "Peace Not War" by Patricia Lithuanian. It was a happy day filled with fun, food, and great memories on the field.

𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥'𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 12 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞.

The drill focused on teaching students how to respond quickly and follow safety measures during an emergency. Through this activity, the school community was reminded of the importance of teamwork, staying calm, and being prepared for any disaster.

Awareness and readiness remain a top priority to ensure the safety of every student and staff member.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Blessed James Cusmano Academy, Inc. led the opening of the first day of the three-day celebration in honor of the Memorial of Blessed James Cusmano, Founder of BJCA, Inc., on March 12.

The event started with a colorful fun run, followed by the rosary, quiz bee and opening of booths spearheaded by the Cusmanians.

This February, for Fire Prevention Month celebrated in March, the passion and talent of our students are truly "naglalagablab, nagliliyab, at nag aalab."

A Senior High School student bravely showcased creativity and awareness through a powerful spoken poetry performance, reminding everyone about the importance of fire safety. At the same time, an Elementary student demonstrated outstanding knowledge and confidence by participating in the Quiz Bee competition for the celebration. Their enthusiasm, courage, and dedication continue to burn brightly, inspiring others to learn, stay aware, and practice fire prevention.
