Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes on August 20, 2026, pupils and students of Barlo Integrated School continue accomplishing their learning activities through the HINAY (Ease-In) Modality, in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 131 and the directives of the concerned authorities.

As classes temporarily shift to an alternative learning setup due to the anticipated effects of continued heavy rainfall and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, our learners remain committed to their education—proving that learning never stops, even in challenging times.

Through the collective efforts of our learners, parents, teachers, and the school community, Barlo Integrated School continues to ensure learning continuity while prioritizing the safety and well-being of everyone.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

In response to the suspension of face-to-face classes and in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the President, Barlo Integrated School implemented an Alternative Delivery Mode of Learning (ADM) on 19 August 2026.

The memorandum directs the implementation of alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures in public and private schools in Pangasinan and other identified areas due to the continued heavy rainfall associated with the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which may pose risks of localized flooding and travel hazards.

Through the implementation of alternative learning modalities, Barlo Integrated School remains committed to ensuring that the education of its learners continues despite the suspension of in-person classes.

Barlo Integrated School strengthened monitoring of learners in the implementation of Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) conducted on August 18, 2026. Learners engaged in academic tasks, emphasizing independent study methods with the assistance of parents, stakeholders, and teachers. 𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺

In compliance with Executive Order No. 24, s. 2026, suspending face-to-face classes in all levels for both public and private schools , August 17, 2026, Barlo Integrated School has shifted to Modular Distance Learning (MDL) as an alternative delivery mode of instruction.

Teachers have prepared and provided learning modules and activities to ensure that learners can continue their education safely from their homes despite the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the effects of the habagat.

Barlo Integrated School reminds all learners and parents to stay safe, follow the necessary precautions, and continue accomplishing the assigned learning tasks.

Learning never stops, even in times of calamity. Together, we remain committed to ensuring that education continues.

Despite the enhanced Habagat and the suspension of face-to-face classes in observance of EO No. 22, s. 2026 of LGU-Mabini, Pangasinan, our pupils and students of Barlo Integrated School continue learning through modular activities at home.

Their dedication reminds us that calamities may pause classroom sessions, but they cannot stop the pursuit of learning.
