🌟𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬🏀

The sound of the buzzer did more than end a basketball game. For 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹, 𝗥𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼, and 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺, it marked the end of their high school basketball journey—a pursuit defined by precision, calculated steps, countless hours of practice, and unwavering hard work.

Every move they made on court reflected years of dedication to the school they proudly represented. Yet once again, they fell short of achieving the dream they had long chased together.

But while their journey as teammates came to an end, fate had one final opportunity waiting. Through their outstanding performances, the three secured individual spots in the Provincial Meet—a bittersweet ending that celebrated their talent while reminding them of the teammates they wished had qualified beside them.

For Andal, qualifying for the provincial stage was not the ending he had imagined. The graduating guard admitted that despite earning a spot, the achievement felt incomplete, knowing the rest of the team would not continue the journey with him.

“Mas gusto nako kompleto mis team makadula ug provincial. Feel nako selfish ko kay gusto jud nako kami tanan kay lingaw kaayo mi.”Andal shared, expressing that he would rather see the whole team advance than celebrate the opportunity alone.

Andal’s word reflected the kind of a leader he had become—not one who measured success with personal recognition, but by the victories shared with the people who stood beside him through every practice, every loss, and every battle on court.

Arsenio also carried a heavy heart, saying that the joy of qualifying was overshadowed by the team's defeat and the dream they had hoped to achieve together.

“Emotional kaayo kay wala namo nakuha ang pangandoy ni Sir Aldwin nga ma-provincial mi tanan.”Arsenio shared.

Jaim also found himself between gratitude and guilt. He admitted that the celebration felt incomplete because the journey was supposed to be shared by everyone who wore the same jersey.

“Nalipay nga naguol. Feel nako selfish ko kay tulo rami nakuha kay pangandoy sad to nila(Team).” Jaim shared.

Their names may have earned a place in the Provincial Meet, but their hearts remained with the team that fought until the final whistle. Fortunately, their outstanding performances opened one last door for them to continue the journey, carrying not only their aspirations but also the dreams of the teammates who stood beside them through every victory, every setback, and every final buzzer—a testament to what true brotherhood is.

A Band of Brothers. 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘀 (𝟭𝟮) of Cor Jesu Institute of Mabini soars for a powerful spike during an intense volleyball clash against Mabini National High School. Through synchronized teamwork, constant communication, and unwavering determination, Lawas delivered several crucial attacks that kept Cor Jesu Institute in the fight. Every rally reflected the team's resilience, discipline, and trust in one another, proving that volleyball is won not only by talent, but by unity.

Despite their relentless effort, Cor Jesu Institute fell short of advancing to the provincial tournament as Mabini National High School secured the victory. The final whistle brought tears to the players, who embraced one another as the weight of the loss settled in. Yet their tears did not mark the end of their journey—they became a symbol of their passion for the game and their commitment to improve. Instead of allowing defeat to define them, the team vowed to return stronger, using the experience as motivation for growth and development.

Although they did not earn a place in the provincial competition, they gained something equally meaningful: the admiration and respect of those who witnessed their resilience, sportsmanship, and unbreakable brotherhood. They may have lost the match, but they won the hearts of the people.

𝐉𝐔𝐌𝐏 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍

Reigning Champion Hyrone Donfel Tagadiad defended his throne with a thunderous jump smash during the District Meet on August 1, 2026.

Throughout the competition, Tagadiad once again showcased his skill during the competition, delivering smash after smash and dictating the pace of the match with his finesse. His consistent performance and positive demeanor allowed him to successfully defend his district title and once again claim the championship.

Reflection on his victory, The reigning champion said he felt “Happy and excited” after securing another provincial ticket. He also shared that balancing his schoolwork and training was one of the biggest challenges he had encountered.

Tagadiad credited God and his coach for helping him reach another milestone, saying their guidance and unwavering support played a vital role in his success. “Ayawg undang sa pag-training, salig lang sa imong sarili. Makab-ot ra nimo imong mga pangandoy puhon,” Tagadiad said.

After successfully defending his district title, Tagadiad now sets his sights on the provincial meet, determined to carry the same passion and hard work that brought him this far.

Tagadiad carries the pride of his school and the heart of a champion—ready to let his jump smash speak for itself. His remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the excellence and honor he continues to bring to the institution.
