Caabiangan Elementary School proudly participated in the District-Level Capacity Building for Learner Support Aides (LSAs) on Beginning Reading through Project C.O.L.I.N. (Collaborative Outreach for Literacy Improvement and Nurturing Readers) conducted on June 27, July 4, and July 11, 2026 at Mabini Central School.
Representing the school was Dr. Lilibeth P. Dela Rosa, Principal I, who served as one of the proponents and Co-Chairperson of the Planning Committee for Project C.O.L.I.N. She also shared her expertise as one of the Resource Speakers, presenting the Overview of Project C.O.L.I.N. and its implementation in strengthening beginning reading instruction.
Also serving as a Resource Speaker was Sir Neilbert P. Reyes, Teacher VI, who chaired the Technical Committee and contributed valuable insights and technical guidance throughout the capacity-building sessions.
Joining the training were the school's dedicated Learner Support Aides (LSAs), Ma'am Cristina A. Lumibao and Sir Virgilio M. Velonza Jr., who actively participated in the series of sessions to enhance their knowledge and skills in delivering effective literacy interventions to struggling and beginning readers.
This meaningful initiative reflects the commitment of the Mabini District led by Dr . Joey L. Caserial, Public Schools District Supervisor and participating schools to empower Learner Support Aides with the competencies needed to help every child become a confident and successful reader through the implementation of Project C.O.L.I.N. โ Building Readers, Empowering Futures. ๐๐
