𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Coast Guard K9-Explosive Ordnance Disposal Force (CGK9-EOD Force) successfully conducted the Joint Graduation Ceremony of the Coast Guard K9 Dog and Handler’s Special Training Course (CGK9 DHSTC) Class 10-2025 and the Coast Guard K9 Basic Course (CGK9 BC) Class 01-2026, alongside the Convening Ceremony of the Coast Guard K9 Explosive Detection Dog and Handler’s Specialization Course (CGK9 EDDHSC) Class 24-2026 and the Coast Guard K9 Basic Course (CGK9 BC) Class 02-2026 on 03 July 2026 at the PCG-PPA K9 Academy in Mabalacat City.

Patuloy ang deployment ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel kasama ang dalawang K9 dogs sa collapse site sa Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City bilang suporta sa nagpapatuloy na search, retrieval, at recovery operations.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: During the Monday morning Colors Ceremony held at the Headquarters, Coast Guard K9 Force, Base Taguig, members of the Coast Guard K9 Search and Rescue (SAR) Team were formally recognized for their exemplary courage, dedication, and selfless service during the Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR) Operations following the collapse of an 9-story building under construction in Angeles City, Pampanga. Operating in a complex and high-risk environment with more than thirty (30) reported missing persons, the SAR Team worked tirelessly alongside partner response agencies to locate survivors, recover victims, and support ongoing rescue efforts.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), together with partner agencies, recovered four bodies from Sectors 1 and 2 of the collapsed building site in Angeles City while continuing search and rescue (SAR) operations today, May 31, 2026.
