In response to the severe flooding caused by the prolonged 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗡𝗨 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗫, and 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗕𝗘 have jointly activated 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗼—a unified monetary donation drive dedicated to supporting impacted 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

All collected funds will be turned over to 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 to purchase essential relief supplies.

Relief targets are actively being assessed by Angat Pampanga, while 𝗡𝗨 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗫, alongside 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗕𝗘, will assist in coordinating volunteers for repacking and distribution efforts.

Sa pag-aaral ng kasaysayan ng ating wika, mahalagang malaman hindi lamang kung ano ang tawag dito ngayon, kundi kung paano nabuo at umunlad ang mga katawagang ginagamit natin.

Bago pa man mapili ang batayan ng ating Wikang Pambansa, isang institusyon muna ang nagsagawa ng masusing pag-aaral sa mga katutubong wika sa Pilipinas.

Ang Surian ng Wikang Pambansa ang inatasang pag-aralan ang mga wikang ito at magrekomenda ng magiging batayan ng Wikang Pambansa. Ang kanilang rekomendasyon ang naging batayan ng Executive Order No. 134 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Manuel L. Quezon noong 1937.

Sa bawat hakbang ng kasaysayan ng ating wika, mahalagang kilalanin ang mga institusyon at indibidwal na naging bahagi ng paghubog ng ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Si Manuel L. Quezon ang kinilala sa kanyang mahalagang papel sa pagtataguyod ng isang pambansang wika. Noong 1937, nilagdaan niya ang Executive Order No. 134, na nagpatibay sa Tagalog bilang batayan ng Wikang Pambansabatay sa rekomendasyon ng Surian ng Wikang Pambansa.

Ang pagkakaroon ng isang pambansang wika ay naging mahalagang hakbang tungo sa pagkakaisa at pagpapatibay ng ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan. Patuloy nating pahalagahan ang wikang Filipino bilang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan, kultura, at pagkatao.
