COMMITTED TO SCHOOL SAFETY AND SECURITY!

Today, August 19, selected Bosconians and Lay Mission Partners began a three-day Basic Life Support and First Aid Training facilitated by the CDRRMO-Mabalacat, continuing on August 20 and 24.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, our participants showed eagerness and readiness to learn essential life-saving skills and strengthen our school’s preparedness for emergencies.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone behind this endeavor, most especially to the PARENTS who supported their children by allowing them to attend the training, bringing them to school, and fetching them afterward despite the inclement weather.

Dakal pung salamat! 🙏💙

On August 16, 1815, in Becchi, Italy, St. John Bosco was born into poverty. Guided by his mother, Mama Margaret, and inspired by a dream at the age of nine, he discovered his calling: to care for young people through love, faith, and kindness.

Ordained in 1841, Don Bosco devoted his life to poor, abandoned, and vulnerable youth. Through his Preventive System of Reason, Religion, and Loving-Kindness, he created schools and oratories where young people could find a home, receive an education, develop their skills, and grow in faith.

For Don Bosco, education was more than rules and lessons; it was making every young person feel known, valued, and loved.

Today, Don Bosco Mabalacat continues to keep his dream alive. In every classroom, playground, activity, and act of service, his spirit lives on as Bosconians are formed to become good Christians and upright citizens.

On his birthday, we celebrate not only the man he was, but the legacy he continues to inspire in every Bosconian.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ST. JOHN BOSCO!
Your dream lives on in us!
