NU Clark proudly congratulates Ms. Roxanne Talampas-Legaspi as she represents Philippines at the Global Educators Academy in Geneva, Switzerland, held alongside the 31st AFS Youth Assembly.
The Global Educators Academy brings together educators from across the globe to deepen their global competence, strengthen intercultural education practices, and explore innovative ways to cultivate active global citizenship in schools and communities. Through collaborative learning, engaging workshops, and meaningful exchanges with fellow educators, participants gain valuable insights and practical tools to enrich teaching and learning in an increasingly interconnected world.
Held in conjunction with the 31st AFS Youth Assembly, which gathered hundreds of young leaders at the World Health Organization Headquarters in celebration of International Youth Day 2026 under the theme "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations," the program underscores the vital role of education in shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and globally minded future.
As part of this prestigious international program, Ms. Roxanne will also work toward earning the AFS Global Competence Certificate, further enhancing her ability to foster intercultural understanding, empathy, and global awareness among learners.
We are proud to see Ms. Roxanne share her expertise, experiences, and the Filipino perspective on the global stage. We look forward to the knowledge, inspiration, and connections she will bring back to the NU Clark community.
Congratulations once again, Ma'am Roxanne! ๐๐

๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐!
Today, we celebrate not just one of our most requested professors in Tourism Management, but someone who has shown us how beautifully LGU, Tourism industry, and academe can come together.
Doc Jay, your dedication, stories, knowledge, and the way you make every class feel lighter are just some of the reasons why students genuinely enjoy having you as their professor. And of course, we cannot forget the legendary pasalubong and papremyo!
But beyond the lessons and laughter, what makes you special is the warmth you bring to the people around you. You teach, you inspire, and you make people feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy learning.
May your year ahead be as meaningful and joyful as the impact youโve made on so many people. Here's to more classes, more stories, more laughter, and of courseโฆ more ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐!
Happy Birthday po, Doc Jay!

Please stay safe, stay indoors when possible, and continue to monitor official weather and follow safety advisories.
May God keep us all safe and give us strength through the days ahead. ๐๐ป๐๐
