IN PHOTOS: SGV Tax Partner Hentje Leo L. Leaño served as a speaker at the “Asset’s Winning Mindset: Going Beyond 75” learning forum of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) of National University Clark.
Leo shared his insights on the topic “Corporate expectations for New CPAs and Translating Academic Discipline into High-Level Career Trajectories.” In his talk, he shared the qualities that drive long-term professional success, drawing from his personal and professional journey. He encouraged more than 400 students to go beyond academic achievements and continue building the skills necessary for meaningful and sustainable career growth.
SGV Assurance Senior Associate and May 2023 CPA Licensure Examination 7th placer Neftali Blase Suarez shared with the students the blueprint of a topnotcher from a reviewee’s perspective. The session covered advanced time management strategies, disciplined study habits, effective problem-solving approaches, and practical test-taking techniques for CPALE preparation.
The event concluded with the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the speakers and attendees by School of Accountancy, Business, and Management Dean Dr. Marcon Espino and Program Chair and JPIA NU-Clark Adviser Ian Jasper Pagulayan.
