MCCians showed up, spoke up, and made their votes count.
The 2026 MCC Student Council Elections officially recorded the highest voter turnout in MCC student elections since 2020, with an overall turnout of 73.09%.
Out of 4,322 enrolled students, a total of 3,159 students participated in this yearโs elections, proving that more MCCians are becoming involved in choosing the leaders who will represent them.
ITE recorded the highest voter turnout at 82.19%, with 1,181 students casting their votes. IHTM followed with 70.55% or 721 voters, while IBE logged 68.79% with 959 voters. Meanwhile, ICS posted a 63.54% turnout, with 298 students participating in the elections.
More than breaking a record, this yearโs turnout reflects a student community that is becoming more active, aware, and willing to take part in shaping student leadership in Mabalacat City College.
