With the theme titled: "𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐜: 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭", the City Youth Development Office, in collaboration with JCI Mabalacat Malasa, successfully conducted the Leadership Training for Youth Leaders yesterday, March 26, 2026, at The Glory Hotel, Clark, Pampanga.

Starting with the first speaker, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄. 𝐑𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨, National Secretary General, JCI Philippines, delivered her talk titled 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮: 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙀𝙩𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚 & 𝙀𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚. Atty. Lian introduced the 4C's an active and ethical leader must observe: 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦. One of the key takeaways from her talk is, "𝘽𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬".

Followed by the second speaker, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞, RSDD, Central Luzon Region, JCI Philippines, with the topic 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩: 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨. Mr. Phillip emphasized the importance of the strategic project management through the acronym (P)ADER: (𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱), 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘻𝘦, 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱, 𝘌𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸. One of the key takeaways from his talk is that, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 among the team members and leaders to successfully execute and implement solutions to community problems.

Last but not the least, the third speaker, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢, Secretary, JCI Tarlac City, with the topic 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮. Ms. Lani explained the importance of habits, especially during group meetings. Parliamentary Procedure must always be observed 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴. One key takeaway from her talk is that by 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨, everyone is trained to wait for their turn, ensuring fair discussions and avoiding heated arguments, leading instead to fruitful conversations.

In addition to the three amazing speakers, we extend our gratitude to the City Youth Development Office for the opportunity, CYDO-OIC Ms. Lacel Baluyut, JCI Mabalacat Malasa President Mr. Rustine Jay Garcia, Youth Leaders, and City Councilor Hon. Patricia Anne Acorda.

Through this initiative, youth leaders, like SSITE officers, gained new perspectives, valuable learnings to apply, and added drive and confidence to lead our organization.

The summit featured inspiring showcases of IoT, web, and mobile applications focused on agricultural and aquatic resources, highlighting how technology and innovation can help address real-world challenges and support sustainable development.🤖⚙️

This experience gave our students the opportunity to witness how research, creativity, and digital solutions can shape the future of communities and industries in the Philippines.🦾🧠✨
