Huge congratulations to our second-year BTVTEd students, who successfully completed the NC II Review Program organized by the Faculty of the BTVTEd program, headed by the Field of Study Head, Mr. Eldy Owen T. Layno, on November 18, 2025 at MCC Dapdap Campus! ๐
Special gratitude and recogition is given to Mr. Gerald C. Presiados, our visiting TESDA assessor, who conducted the review to the students, and to all interested ITE faculty members who attended the review.
This intensive review was specifically designed to equip the BTVTEd students with the essential knowledge and practical skills in Food Processing, needed to confidently ace the upcoming TESDA NC II assessment.
We are incredibly proud of your dedication and hard work throughout the program. Remember, achieving your NC II is a crucial step in your professional journey, significantly enhancing your skills and employability in your chosen field!

The Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) proudly congratulates Dr. Maureen P. Santos, our Field of Study Head for B.S.Ed. Mathematics and Science programs, for her successful research paper presentation at the 18th EARIST Research Colloquium on November 13 - 14, 2025 at the Eulogio โAmangโ Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology in Sampaloc, Manila.
The event themed: Interweaving Disciplines for a Sustainable Nation: Collaborative Research for Climate Resilience and Innovation was in collaboration with the International Association of Research Ethics Across Disciplines (IAREAD). Dr. Santos excellently presented her insightful paper titled: โThe Establishment of Workload, Designation, and Work Status as Contributing Factors of Teaching Performanceโ. Indeed, it was a perfect platform for her invaluable contribution to understanding and improving teaching effectiveness.

As part of its commitment to academic excellence and meaningful collaboration, the Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) of Mabalacat City College, led by the Dean, Dr. Conrad M. Buerkley, paid a courtesy visit to the Schools Division Office of Mabalacat City. The delegation was warmly received by Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Maria Carmen P. Cuenco.
This visit aimed to foster a strong partnership between the ITE and the Schools Division Office to further enhance the training and development of Pre-Service Teachers, equipping them for success in their future teaching careers.
Joining Dr. Buerkley in the visit were ITE Assistant Dean and BPEd Program Head, Ms. Susan E. Manuel, BSEd Math and Science Program Head, Dr. Maureen P. Santos, BTVTEd Program Head, Mr. Eldy Owen T. Layno, BSEd Social Studies Program Head, Mr. Karlo P. Tolentino, and BSEd English and Filipino Program Head, Mr. Edward Q. Inong. The group was also accompanied by Dr. Marilyn S. Arcilla, Officer-in-Charge for the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Together, these academic leaders reaffirmed their shared vision of nurturing competent and compassionate future educators through collaborative engagement and continuous improvement.

Almario, are visiting Indonesia on June 25-29, for enriched collaboration and networking mission with different Teacher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia.
