Cheers to 30 years!
For three decades, the Madapdap Resettlement High School emblem has proudly served as the official symbol and โfaceโ of our beloved institution. More than just a logo, it reflects the vision, values, aspirations, and identity of the MaRHS community throughout the years.
To help the public better understand the relevance and meaning behind the MaRHS logo, here is the explanation of its symbols and colors:
FIAT LUX โ is a Latin phrase from the Latin Vulgate Bible and is typically translated as โlet there be lightโ when relating to Genesis 1:3
THE SIX GREEN LEAVES โ symbolize agriculture, fertility and growth
THE VECTOR โ symbolizes commerce and social dealings between people
THE OPEN BOOK โ depicts the quest for quality education
THE LIGHTED TORCH โ represents better quality of life
THE YEAR 1996 โ is the year when the school was founded
THE PREVAILING COLORS OF THE LOGO:
YELLOW ๐ก stands for wisdom and enlightenment
BLUE ๐ต symbolizes dignity, inspiration and genuineness
WHITE โช emphasizes the purity of the teaching profession
GREEN ๐ข means harmony, self-respect and well-being
Indeed, the MaRHS emblem is not only a representation of our school, but also a reminder of our commitment to excellence, service, integrity, and lifelong learning.
One Vision. One Mission. One MaRHS.

ANOTHER REGIONAL WINNER | Congratulations to the Copyeditor of The MARHSian Times for representing MaRHS and the Division of Mabalacat City with excellence!
01/04/2026
WE HAVE ANOTHER REGIONAL WINNER!
Congratulations, Thea!
Another Regional Winner:
TMT Copyeditor Places 8th in RSPC 2026
Not just one, but two campus journalists from The MaRHSian Times made it to the Top 10 of the Copyediting and Headline Writing event in the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), with Thea L. Gueco securing 8th place out of 63 secondary qualifiers from across Central Luzon.
In addition to the earlier recognition of Jhaydee B. Aysonโs Top 5 finish, Guecoโs placement was confirmed through the official regional memorandum releasing the Top 10 winners in each category.
Gueco, managing editor and copyeditor, competed against campus journalists from various Schools Division Offices in Region III, focusing on correcting errors and writing headlines within a limited time.
She advanced to the regional level only one week before the competition and maximized her preparation time through focused training in editing and headline writing.
โI made sure to use the time I had to prepare and stayed focused during the competition,โ Gueco said. โI also wanted to prove that I deserved the opportunity to represent the division at the regional level.โ
The annual RSPC gathers student journalists across the region to test their skills in editing, writing, and analysis.
Gueco was coached by Howard Kenneth D. Casupanan, school paper adviser of The MaRHSian Times, who guided her through her preparation.
Casupanan said Gueco rose to the challenge despite limited preparation time.
โI am very happy for Thea because she almost didnโt make it to the regional level, but I think the stars aligned for her, and she was destined to compete and win in the RSPC, which is far more challenging than the division level, as she competed against the best in the region,โ Casupanan said.
โShe proved that she was ready for the competition and represented the division well,โ he continued.
The recognition adds to the achievements of The MaRHSian Times at the regional level.
