PROVINCIAL CHAPTER 2026
The Provincial Chapter 2026 commenced on August 15 and will continue until August 20 at the Mornese Center of Spirituality, Pansol, Laguna.

These days are a sacred time of discernment, deliberation, prayer, and grace for our Province a time to listen deeply to the Spirit and to one another as we journey together toward God’s will for our mission.

From the Mary Help of Christians Community, Pampanga, our delegates are Sr. Lyn Yap, Sr. Airiz Japitana, Sr. Peachy Ortiz, and myself. We are also grateful for the presence and support of our Lay Mission Partners, whose participation was requested from August 16–18: Mr. Walter San Diego, Ms. Chona Lumanlan, and Ms. Jasmin Mallari.
Thank you, dear Lay Mission Partners, for accompanying us and for generously sharing your presence, wisdom, and commitment to the mission.
Please continue to journey with us through your prayers. May the Holy Spirit guide every conversation, decision, and discernment, and may Mary Help of Christians accompany our Province throughout this sacred journey.

🙏 Pray with us. Walk with us. Discern with us.

May everything lead us closer to God’s will and to a renewed commitment to the young and to the mission entrusted to us. 💙 See less

Institute Day Celebration
Although our celebration was delayed for almost a week because of the inclement weather, the fire of gratitude and the great desire to live the legacy of Mornese and the first Sisters continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

MOHTIW joyfully joined MHCS in this shared celebration, making the occasion even more meaningful. The presentations prepared by our students, teachers, and parents added warmth, joy, and a beautiful sense of community to the celebration.

Indeed, the spirit of Mornese lives on not only in our memories, but in the way we continue to serve, love, and carry forward the mission entrusted to us. May this fire continue to burn brightly in all of us! 🔥💙 See less

Every visit and every encounter is grace-filled! 💙✨

We are truly grateful and blessed to welcome Sr. Ruth Mora, FMA, Councilor for the Missions, together with Sr. Corazon Beboso, the pioneer principal of MHCS, and Srs. Tess Mendoza, Puring Cruz, Helen Sebastian, and Maria Fe Tansioco.

Despite the weather challenges, MOHTIW and MHCS were blessed with this meaningful encounter, a beautiful opportunity for sharing, communion, and deepening our sense of mission.

We shared a joyful lunch together, made even more special through the generosity of Mrs. Yvonne Arona and her daughter Sophia, our dear friends and benefactors. Even at the last minute, they generously came to our help and contributed a sumptuous meal for everyone. We are deeply grateful for their kindness and generosity.

After lunch, Sr. Ruth had the opportunity to tour MHCS and MOHTIW, giving her a glimpse of our facilities, our people, and the mission entrusted to us here in Pampanga. It was a meaningful opportunity to share with her the realities, challenges, blessings, and initiatives of our mission.

In her sharing, Sr. Ruth expressed her delight in seeing and learning how much difference our presence makes in this area. Her words were a great affirmation and encouragement to us. True to the mission embraced by Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello, we continue to carry out the task entrusted to us, responding to the needs of the young and giving new impetus to the Salesian mission.

After the school visits, we proceeded to Clark Airbase, where Sr. Ruth had a quick glimpse of the areas of some of our partner companies and the environment where many of our trainees experience their industry exposure and formation. We also visited the museum, adding a meaningful cultural and historical dimension to the visit. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Walter San Diego, who generously made the museum available for our visit.

As we bid goodbye to Sr. Ruth, we asked her to extend our love, affection, and warm embrace to Mother General, assuring her of our prayers and communion. Through Sr. Ruth, we also send our warmest greetings and love to the Institute.

We are equally grateful to Mr. Larry Francisco for the kind assistance he provided to Sr. Ruth on her departure and for helping make her journey smooth and comfortable.

Indeed, this visit reminded us once again that every encounter is a gift, every welcome is an opportunity for communion, and every shared moment strengthens us in our mission.

It was a profound joy to bring the love of Christ to His people in Bulacos, Masantol, and Hagonoy, Bulacan and Pangasinan two days before His birth. Sharing material for roofing, rice and canned goods this grace-filled moment with nearly 1,000 people made the experience deeply meaningful, as faith, hope, and love were alive in the community. One exciting and adventurous part of the mission was the boat ride we had to take before reaching the parish a journey that reminded us that love, when offered in Christ’s name, knows no boundaries and reaches even the most remote places.

A Day of Christmas Gift-Giving was joyfully shared with our trainees, trainers, staff, and support personnel, together with their families. It was deeply meaningful celebration one that reminded us that even in the midst of poverty and the many uncertainties of life, hope continues to find its way into our hearts.

We are profoundly grateful to all our friends and benefactors whose kind assistance and generosity made this occasion possible. Your kindness became a living sign of God’s providence, reaching our recipients at a time when encouragement and compassion were most needed. Our heartfelt gratitude to our dear friends FalConn Cares, to the FalConn President Merli Cruz-David and Charity Director Mabel Ardinazo, Barbara Magtibay, Cristy Pinzon Labog, Joselyn Ferriols, Dr Carmelino Payumo, Dr Carlos Capati, Nidz Tanchiatco and JP Manuel Krizzel Chu - Ong . Your support did not only provide gifts to share, but also renewed faith, dignity, and joy among the families we serve.

May the love you have shared return to you abundantly, and may God bless you for being instruments of hope this Christmas season
