Pursuant to the Department’s continuing mandate to ensure the proper collection, documentation, and validation of information relating to lands used as school sites, the Sites Titling Office will be conducting an Online Workshop for School Heads on the Collection of School Site Ownership Data and Documents.

The Sites Titling Office – Southern Leyte Division proudly announces the submission of 3 additional Special Patent Applications to the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) for processing!
This brings the total to 41 Special Patent Applications submitted since September 2025, a remarkable accomplishment made possible through strong collaboration and shared commitment. Of these, 16 Special Patent Applications are covered under MOA 4 between the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork of:

We humbly request that the following documents be submitted to the SDO Southern Leyte LEGAL OFFICE:

1. Newly released Certified True Copy (CTC) of the latest Tax Declaration (APRIL 2026 ONWARDS) – issued by the Municipal Assessor
2. Original Tax Clearance based on this updated Tax Declaration – issued by the Municipal Treasurer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, as per the Registry of Deeds, if registration fees are not paid before April 1, 2026, your school will be required to re-submit these documents.

This submission is essential because the GPPC Certification for your school has not yet been released. We greatly appreciate your understanding, prompt action, and kind cooperation.

Building on the good news we shared earlier, the Sites Titling Office – Southern Leyte Division is pleased to highlight that a total of twenty-three (23) schools covering twenty-six (26) school lots have now successfully paid their Special Patent Registration Fees at the Land Registration Authority – Registry of Deeds, Maasin, Province of Southern Leyte.
Last update, the registration fees for 25 school lots were paid, and this was followed by one (1) additional school site, bringing us to this significant milestone.
With these payments completed, the processing and issuance of the Original Certificates of Title (OCTs) will now proceed at the Registry of Deeds. While the exact release date may vary depending on document completeness and office workload, the titles may be released in about a month or so. ✨
This accomplishment reflects the dedication, cooperation, and shared commitment of many individuals working together to secure school lands for the benefit of present and future learners.

The Sites Titling Office – Southern Leyte Division proudly shares that the Special Patent Registration Fees for 19 school lots were successfully paid this week at the Land Registration Authority – Registry of Deeds, Maasin, Province of Southern Leyte.
