PUBLIC INFORMATION: NEW BOOM BARRIER & RFID PARKING POLICY |

The College of Maasin is committed to providing a safe, secure, and orderly campus environment. To this end, we are implementing strict policies regarding the use of our new Boom Barrier and RFID Parking System.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the rules and associated penalties to ensure smooth operations and maintain your parking privileges.

🚫 KEY VIOLATIONS & CONSEQUENCES:

🚗 TAILGATING: Following another vehicle through the barrier is strictly prohibited. Offenses result in fines and potential loss of parking services.

💳 RFID SHARING: Lending your RFID tag is a severe violation, carrying a 5,000 fine and immediate loss of privileges for the 2nd offense.

🛠️ COUNTERFEITING RFID: Creating or using fake RFIDs is a zero-tolerance offense, resulting in the immediate and permanent cancellation of parking services.

⚠️ DAMAGING BOOM BARRIERS: Any damage to the barrier will result in a minimum 5,000 fine plus all repair costs.

🅿️ UNAUTHORIZED PARKING: Parking in non-designated or restricted areas will lead to fines and loss of privileges.

🚶‍♂️ PEDESTRIAN ACCESS THROUGH THE BARRIER: For your safety, pedestrians are strictly forbidden from passing under or around a closed boom barrier. This can result in a fine and a required conduct hearing.

❗ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

These policies are strictly enforced for the smooth and secure operation of the parking system for all.

Decisions made by the College Administration regarding violations are final and non-appealable.

The College of Maasin, Inc. proudly joined the annual parade to celebrate the 66th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Southern Leyte, Philippines.

With the theme “66 Years of Resilience Amidst Challenges,” the celebration highlighted the enduring strength, unity, and commitment of Southern Leyteños in overcoming trials and continuing their journey toward progress.

Despite the rainy weather, The College of Maasin fervently participated and was honored to be part of this meaningful event celebrating the province’s rich history, vibrant culture, and unwavering spirit of resilience.

Good day, The College of Maasin Community.

In light of recent incidents affecting the safety and security of educational institutions, The College of Maasin is strengthening and strictly enforcing its campus security measures to ensure the safety and protection of all students, faculty, staff, parents, visitors, and stakeholders.

Effective immediately:

✅ All visitors, parents, guardians, and other guests entering the campus must sign the Visitor’s Logbook at the entrance and secure a Visitor’s Pass.

✅ Security personnel shall conduct routine inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings using handheld metal detectors and other security screening procedures prior to entry.

✅ Faculty, staff, students, and visitors are encouraged to cooperate fully with security protocols and comply with instructions issued by authorized security personnel.

✅ Any suspicious activity, unattended package, or security concern should be reported immediately to the Security Personnel or the Administration.

✅ The bringing of fi****ms, bladed weapons, explosives, and other dangerous or prohibited items into the campus is strictly prohibited.

These measures are being implemented solely to safeguard our College community and to maintain a secure, orderly, and conducive environment for learning and work.

We ask for your understanding, support, and cooperation as we work together to prioritize the safety, security, and well-being of everyone on campus.
