With grateful hearts, the MCD Rondalla extends its sincerest appreciation to Hon. Mayor Luz Mercado and the LGU Maasin City for including us as one of the three proud beneficiaries of the Cultural Enhancement Program, together with Ibarra National High School and Maria Clara Integrated School.

Thank you, Ma’am Mayor, for the wonderful opportunity to perform during your birthday celebration.

Special thanks to the MCD Rondalla teachers headed by Maestro Nathaniel Jarabe, with the support of Acting EPS in MAPEH, Chindy dela Cruz, and teachers Adrinor Niña Mancera, Leonardo Alico Jr., Ma. Jovelyn Alesna, Lourey Ortiz, and Ace Marie Pedaria.

Special thanks also to the Maasin City NHS Timpuyog Dance Group, headed by Miss Marga Notarte, for beautifully dancing along with the music of the Rondalla and making the celebration more meaningful and vibrant.

We also extend our appreciation to the MCD Rondalla Singers, Collene Tanquison, Mark Anthony Silverio, and Jhudaze Kawaling, for sharing their voices and adding life to every performance.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to Ma’am Ma. Essie E. Garvez from the LGU Maasin City for her support and contribution to the success of this program.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 🙏

As we begin this special milestone, our Grade 10 and Grade 12 learners, including our ALS students, gathered in a Baccalaureate Mass, a moment of confession, reflection, and gratitude.

With humble hearts, we offered our prayers, sought forgiveness, and gave thanks for the strength, guidance, and blessings received throughout our academic journey.

This sacred celebration reminds us that beyond achievements and recognitions, it is faith, character, and perseverance that truly define our success.

As we move forward to new beginnings, may we carry with us the values we have learned, the lessons we have gained, and the faith that will guide us in every step of our journey.

Matin-aw National High School proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the 3rd School-Based Research Summit held on March 25, 2026, with the theme: “Building a Culture of Inquiry: Empowering Young Researchers in Matin-aw NHS.”

Our sincere gratitude goes to our ever supportive School Principal III, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗. 𝗞𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻, for his unwavering leadership and commitment to fostering a strong research culture in our school.
