𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🕯️🩺

Today, we commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale, the visionary who revolutionized nursing through compassion, dedication, and selfless service. Known as the “Lady with the Lamp,” her legacy continues to inspire generations of nurses to become instruments of healing and hope.

On this day, we also celebrate International Nurses Day, honoring every nurse who works tirelessly to care, comfort, and save lives. Behind every act of care is a heart filled with courage, patience, and genuine compassion.

May we continue to carry the light of Florence Nightingale by serving humanity with excellence, empathy, and a heart like Christ. 🤍✨

The SJC College of Nursing Faculty is honored to be part of this year's prestigious national assembly held at the Grand Astoria Hotel in Zamboanga City. Their attendance at this significant gathering of the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN) underscores their dedication to staying at the forefront of nursing education and professional development. By representing our institution on this national stage, our mentors are collaborating with fellow educators to bring home the latest advancements and strategies that will directly benefit us, their students. ✨🤍

A definitive highlight of their participation was the rare and privileged opportunity to meet with the Board of Nursing (BON), led by the esteemed Chairperson, Hon. Leah Primitiva G. Samaco-Paquiz.

We are incredibly proud to see our faculty representing SJC -CON at such a high level of professional discourse and engaging directly with the leaders who shape the standards of our future profession. This experience reaffirms our collective commitment to excellence as they continue to mold us into the next generation of world-class Filipino nurses. 🩺🎓
