Today, we commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale, the visionary who revolutionized nursing through compassion, dedication, and selfless service. Known as the “Lady with the Lamp,” her legacy continues to inspire generations of nurses to become instruments of healing and hope.

On this day, we also celebrate International Nurses Day, honoring every nurse who works tirelessly to care, comfort, and save lives. Behind every act of care is a heart filled with courage, patience, and genuine compassion.

May we continue to carry the light of Florence Nightingale by serving humanity with excellence, empathy, and a heart like Christ. 🤍✨

In view of the rising oil prices and increasing transportation and operational costs, the administration will implement a four-day work schedule for selected non-teaching personnel.

🗓 Schedule: Monday to Thursday
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

This adjustment aims to ease the burden on employees while ensuring the continuous delivery of essential services. All concerned personnel are expected to observe punctuality, professionalism, and proper coordination with their immediate supervisors.

📍Effective: April 20, 2026, until further notice.

FOUR-DAY WORK SCHEDULE | In response to the rising oil prices and their impact on transportation and operational expenses, Saint Joseph College has implemented a four-day work schedule for selected non-teaching personnel, effective April 20, 2026, until further notice.

This temporary measure aims to ease the burden on employees while ensuring the continuous delivery of essential services, with guidelines in place to maintain efficiency, professionalism, and proper coordination.

FLEXIBLE LEARNING | Following the recommendation of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) amid the national energy emergency, Saint Joseph College has adopted a flexible learning arrangement for its summer classes.

Online modality will be implemented for non-board courses and General Education subjects, while board programs and laboratory classes will continue in person to ensure instructional quality and sustain academic performance.

The administration has also directed deans and faculty members to closely monitor attendance, support students with connectivity challenges, and uphold professionalism in the delivery of instruction to ensure an effective and inclusive summer program.
