Since there is a class suspension today, learners are advised to stay at home and yet be productive.

HINAY mode activated.. so learners will be sent with modules to answer by their class advisers/subject teachers.

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

In view of the Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 13 issued by PAGASA Visayas PRSD at 5:00 AM today, August 19, 2026, indicating that Maasin, Iloilo is among the areas experiencing light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains, classes in all levels, both public and private schools, are hereby SUSPENDED today, August 19, 2026.

This decision is being made as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, considering the prevailing weather conditions and the possibility of flooding, landslides, and other hazards.

All school authorities, parents, learners, and the general public are advised to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and continuously monitor official weather updates and announcements from PAGASA and the Local Government Unit.

The safety of our children and our community remains our utmost priority.

Please stay safe, everyone.

Our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to our beloved SHS parents, SPTA Officers, SHS Council Officers, and dedicated SHS teachers.

Your extraordinary bayanihan spirit shone brightly this Saturday, August 15, 2026, as you united to clear and clean our canals.

Through your hard work, water flows freely, and our classrooms are protected from the flooding we have faced during heavy rains. You turned shared concern into lasting care.

Service is our foundation, leadership our guide, partnership our path to excellence.

You made this noble vision come alive through action. Because of you, our school is safer, stronger, and better prepared — rain or shine. Your unity inspires us all.

Kudos and arigatu gusaimazu
