INAUGURATION & BLESSING OF THE NEW SCHOOL BUILDING AT Maasin National Comprehensive High School on Monday, June 15, 2026.

The ceremonial turning over of the newly-built school building will take place during the Flag Ceremony with guests and benefactors present.

Our gratitude to Senator Win T. Gatchalian and Dr. Milwida Guevara of Synergeia Foundation, Inc. for their exceptional contribution to the school and their strong commitment to education in order to bring progress into the lives of our learners.

Also, we thank Mayor Francis “Ansing” Amboy and Executive Assistant John C. Mondejar for the tireless effort and unwavering dedication to make this project realized.

A tree planting and river clean-up activity of the Environmental Management Bureau 6 - Western Visayas @ Daja, Maasin, Iloilo today.

The activity was participated by Maasin National Comprehensive High School, headed by our OIC, Mrs. Divina A. Billena, the Science Department, led by Mrs. Karen M. Ricaforte, MT I, Science teachers, SSLG officers, Level Council Officers, Club Officers, teachers, students, volunteers and advocates.

It was a meaningful activity to continue preserving our nature by keeping it clean and by planting more trees for the future.

Our gratitude to all the facilitators, parents and LGU officials especially to Mayor Francis “Ansing” Amboy.

We are delighted to be visited by our two superiors in the Department of Education, our Regional Director and Asst. Regional Director for Region VI.

The first flag ceremony was also graced by our Division Personnel no other than our very own, Dr. Rita M. Bertomo who gave a motivational speech to all our learners and monitored our opening of classes activities and preparations.

Further, with her present are our Committee on Education SB Member Hope P. Mondejar and Brgy. Captain of Mab-Riz, Nemia Malaga.

It was indeed one great start for a brand new school year! Our gratitude to everyone for making our opening of classes meaningful.

LOOK | Mayor Francis “Ansing” Amboy VISITS MNCHS PRIOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SCHOOL'S OPENING.

With the strong partnership established with LGU, our school's endeavor is always supported by our beloved Mayor. Makeshift classrooms will soon be put up for senior high school students provided by our LGU.

Our new site that needs clearing and leveling was attended to. After 2 weeks our new 4-classroom building will soon be ready for occupancy.

Thank you Mayor Ansing for always answering our requests and demands.

Our gratitude to Oton National High School for your amazing accommodation. The benchmarking activity we did today was full of learnings.

Your best practices that you shared with us in your SPFL -Korean will help us in the pilot implementation of our own SPFL - Nihongo this school year.

Thank you Sir Darwin Haro and to everyone who facilitated and warmly welcomed us in your school.

The "bayanihan" spirit is alive again in MNCHS community. Students, parents, teachers and stakeholders join hands in utmost support to the school.

Brigada activities are still unfolding and more voluntary work will be done this entire week.

Enrollment is going on until June 5, 2026.

Closing Program will be on Friday, June 5, 2026 to culminate all the hardwork our stakeholders have exerted in order to help us prepare the school.
