The outgoing members of the NSTP Council of The College of Maasin successfully facilitated an Orientation and Capacity Building and Leadership Development for the newly appointed NSTP Council members. The program ensures a smooth leadership transition by equipping the incoming officers with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to carry out their responsibilities effectively. Rycille Tingcoy, NSTP General President, spearheads the activities and hosted the program.
The activity featured one-on-one leadership coaching, action planning, experience-sharing, and team-building sessions designed to strengthen collaboration, commitment, and servant leadership among the new members of the NSTP Council.
NSTP Instructor and Assistant NSTP Council adviser Maria Carmela Gono welcomed the participants with a message. To conclude the initiative, Dr. Gemar B. Mori, the NSTP Director and Council adviser, challenged the incoming NSTP General Officers to do more and be better so CM can continue soaring higher for the greater good.
As a new chapter begins, the facilitators remind the newly elected General Officers to lead with integrity, inspire through service, and remain committed to making a meaningful impact in the school and the community.

NSTP Instructor participates in CHEDRO VIII Convention for NSTP implementers and educators
NSTP Instructor Maria Carmela Gono participated in the Regional NSTP Forum and Capacity Building for Higher Education Institutions in Region VIII at Eastern Visayas State University - Graduate School Function Hall, Tacloban City. She was joined by 102 NSTP Directors, Coordinators, and Educators in the entire region.
Important updates and concerns were discussed by various agencies and organizations that partner with CHEDRO VIII in NSTP implementation. The participation of Ms. Gono serves as a testament to the school's NSTP implementation, which is compliant with and adaptive to the mandates of the law and based on the needs of the students and communities.

The National Service Training Program (NSTP), through the CM - Community Engagement Services (CES) Office, successfully conducted its orientation for first-year students enrolled in BS Nursing, BS Business Administration, BS Information Technology, BS Accountancy, BA Political Science, B Secondary Education, and B Elementary Education.
The orientation began with an introduction to the NSTP as one of the approaches to CES under service-learning by the CES and NSTP Director, Dr. Gemar B. Mori, who welcomed the students, presented the program's vision, mission, and goals, and explained the students' role in fostering civic responsibility and community development.
Following this, Edrielle Lastra, Leader of the Volunteer Group of Students (VGS), introduced the organization's volunteer opportunities, encouraging students to participate in meaningful community service initiatives actively.
Former NSTP President Rycille Pearl Tingcoy then presented the accomplishment report, highlighting the dedication and hard work of the previous NSTP students. The report showcased numerous successful projects and initiatives that made a positive and lasting impact on the community.
The orientation also included the presentation of the financial report for the previous academic year by Mary Viance Cabangal, promoting transparency and accountability in the program's operations.
The orientation served as an inspiring introduction for the new batch of students, encouraging them to embrace the values of leadership, volunteerism, and service as they begin their NSTP journey.

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Office warmly welcomes all incoming first-year students to the General Orientation. This orientation aims to introduce students to the objectives of NSTP, its program components, course requirements, and the vital role of every student in promoting civic consciousness, leadership, volunteerism, and community service.
All enrolled NSTP first-year students are mandated to attend, as important announcements, guidelines, and program information will be discussed. Please arrive on time and observe proper decorum throughout the orientation.
