The Supreme Student Council of SLSUโMCC proudly congratulates our SSC Adviser, Ms. Trisha Mae Llagas, RSW, for being selected into the inaugural batch of the BAGANI Fellowship under the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).
๐ชฝ After a rigorous application and selection process, her inclusion in this highly selective program (composed of only 50 fellows in its first batch) reflects a distinguished recognition of leadership potential, public service commitment, and readiness for deeper engagement in governance work.
๐ชฝ The fellowship is a one-month fully-funded residential program that brings together emerging leaders through bootcamps, learning modules, policy dialogues, mentoring engagements, exposure sessions, and collaborative workshops centered on governance, innovation, systems thinking, and public leadership.
๐ชฝ As part of this national cohort, she will also represent Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), carrying with her the institutionโs values, voice, and commitment to service as she engages with fellows from across the country.
๐ชฝ From SLSUโMCC and the SSC, this milestone is honored with pride, recognizing not only individual achievement but also the opportunity to bring institutional representation into a wider national leadership space.
Congratulations on becoming part of the first fifty shaping the BAGANI Fellowship and helping lay its foundation for future cohorts!

More than just a team-building activity, this gathering brought together both outgoing and incoming student leaders to strengthen connections, share ideas, and shape an exciting year ahead for the SLSU-MCC community.
๐Student organizations presented their proposed calendars of activities, receiving valuable insights from fellow leaders, SSC seniors, and the SSC Adviser. What made this planning session even more meaningful was the spirit of collaboration that emerged among the organizations. Rather than working independently, student groups explored opportunities to co-organize and support each other's initiativesโcreating partnerships that will lead to bigger, more impactful activities for our students.
๐This collaborative planning approach, a first for the upcoming term, reflects our commitment to ensuring that every organization, every leader, and every student has a place in building a more vibrant and connected SLSU-MCC community. Because at SLSU-MCC, we do not simply work side by sideโwe move forward together as one family.
๐Fostering collaboration among student organizations for the good of our SLSU-MCC students. The future is already taking shape, and it looks promising.
Truly embodying our mighty core vision: ๐
