We are pleased to announce the newly established SJC Graduate School Library, located on the 4th Floor of the New Graduate School Building.

Designed to support the academic and research needs of our Josephinians, the Graduate Library provides a dedicated space for reading, studying, research, and scholarly work.

This new facility marks another milestone in our continuing commitment to providing quality library services and meaningful learning spaces for the SJC community.

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲: 𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞

Today, August 21, we remember Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and the courage he showed in standing for the Filipino people. While this day marks a painful chapter in our history, it also reminds us of the sacrifices and struggles that shaped the democracy we have today.

Ninoy’s life and death remind us that freedom is never freely given. It is carried forward through people willing to stand for what they believe is right—even when the cost is great.

Decades after his assassination on August 21, 1983, his words, “The Filipino is worth dying for,” continue to resonate. They reflected his deep faith in the Filipino people and their right to live with freedom, dignity, and hope.

As we remember Ninoy today, perhaps we should also ask ourselves a simple question:

What are we willing to do for our country?

His story may belong to history, but the responsibility to care for the country he believed in belongs to all of us.
