Faculty members, personnel, and newly hired research and extension personnel of Southern Leyte State Universityโ€“Maasin City Campus (SLSU-MCC) gathered on August 26, 2026, for the Institutional Orientation on SHAPE Center Establishment and Unit Onboarding for Newly Hired Research and Extension Associates, marking an important step in operationalizing the campus' newly established research center for governance and human development.
Spearheaded by the Research, Innovation, Production and Extension (RIPE) Unit, the full-day activity introduced the University community to the Center for Social Human Advancement, Policy and Empowerment (SHAPE Center) and strengthened the readiness of newly hired personnel who will support the campus' growing research and extension initiatives.
