To our dear MCA parents and athletes,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤️

To our parents, SALAMAT kaajo bisan kapoy.We know that this journey was not easy. Behind every game, every training, and every athlete who showed up were PARENTS who made sacrifices—preparing requirements and papers, adjusting schedules, waiting, supporting, and sometimes staying up late because of extended trainings. We may not see every sacrifice, but we truly appreciate all of them.

Thank you for trusting us, for allowing your children to play, and most especially, for allowing them to proudly wear the MCA name and represent our school. Your support means so much—not only to your children, but to the entire MCA family.

To our hardworking athletes, our SUNBEAMS, thank you for giving your best. Thank you for showing up even when you were tired, for pushing through the pressure, and for representing MCA with courage and pride. We are so proud of you—not only because of how you played, but because of the character you showed along the way. You gave us something to be proud of.

And above all, we thank God. 🙏 He has been our strength throughout this journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, to support our students, and to witness how God brings together parents, teachers, coaches, and athletes for one purpose.

MCA Family,

As we continue to enjoy the excitement, fun, and spirit of our Pre-Intramurals, we would also like to remind everyone to take extra care as haze continues to affect some areas of Southern Leyte.

We know that this is a special time for our students to participate, cheer for their teams, build friendships, and enjoy the activities together. At the same time, your health and safety remain very important to us.

We encourage everyone to take simple precautions, especially during outdoor activities. Please wear a face mask when necessary, minimize unnecessary exposure to the haze, stay hydrated, and take time to rest. Students who experience coughing, difficulty breathing, dizziness, or any unusual discomfort are encouraged to immediately inform their teachers or school personnel.

Let us continue to enjoy our Pre-Intramurals with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and care for one another. Please be mindful not only of your own well-being but also of your classmates, friends, and fellow members of our MCA family.

As we play, cheer, and celebrate together, let us also remain prayerful and trust in God’s loving protection. May He keep every student, teacher, staff member, and family safe and healthy throughout our activities.

RONIN JIU JITSU–LEYTE AT MCA!

Maasin Christian Academy, Inc. is happy and excited to invite our dear MCA Sunbeams to be part of the Ronin Jiu Jitsu–Leyte Grappling Sports Club, happening every Friday afternoon at MCA!

Slowly embracing the art of Grappling through Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling, this program aims to introduce and spread the discipline and values of martial arts from the grassroots level.

We believe that through this sport, our students can develop not only physical strength and skills but also discipline, confidence, respect, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Palco for their dedication, passion, and willingness to share their knowledge and skills with our young MCA Sunbeams. We truly appreciate your commitment to helping develop and inspire the next generation of athletes.

PRAISE GOD FOR OUR MCA SUNBEAMS!

The Maasin Christian Academy, Inc. family is proud of our very own MCA Sunbeams who participated in the 26th Cityhood Celebration of Maasin City Badminton Tournament!

We thank God for giving our young athletes the strength, courage, skills, and opportunity to participate and proudly represent MCA. We are also grateful for our dedicated coaches who patiently guide and train our players, and for the supportive parents who continually encourage, accompany, and cheer for their children.

May the Lord continue to bless our coaches, parents, and athletes as they grow not only in sports, but also in character, discipline, perseverance, and faith.
