✨IHES Welcomes Dinopol as its New School Head✨

A Turn-Over and Installation Ceremony was conducted at Isidro Hulom Elementary School on June 18, 2026, to formally bid farewell to former School Principal John Paul C. Generoso and to welcome and install the new School Head, Grace Dinopol. The activity also aimed to facilitate the smooth transition of leadership and responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Isidro Hulom Elementary School and Ireneo Lopez Central Elementary School, school heads from the Maasim II and III Districts, stakeholders, parents, barangay officials, and representatives from the School District Office.

During the turn-over proper, Sir John Paul C. Generoso officially transferred school records, documents, properties, and administrative responsibilities to Ma’am Grace Dinopol, ensuring the continuity of school operations and programs.

After the ceremony, the faculty and staff of Isidro Hulom Elementary School accompanied Sir Generoso to his new station, Ireneo Lopez Central Elementary School, for his Turn-Over and Installation Ceremony. Their presence reflected their appreciation for his leadership and service and expressed their support as he embarked on a new chapter of his professional journey.

IN PHOTOS || Isidro Hulom Elementary School, through the leadership of School Principal John Paul C. Generoso, continues its mission to keep the school premises safe, secure, clean, and beautiful despite being recently affected by the earthquake. 🔨🪏🎨

After the school buildings were inspected and cleared of structural damage by the Municipal Engineer's Office, construction of the perimeter fence and additional lavatories resumed, while the exteriors of school buildings are also being repainted.

These ongoing efforts reflect the school's commitment to providing learners with a safe, conducive, and welcoming learning environment.

To our dear parents, stakeholders, STA. CRUZ MPC, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Barangay Kabatiol Council, thank you for lending your helping hands and donating cleaning and painting materials to help make our school safe, clean, and ready for a conducive learning environment as classes begin on June 8, 2026.

✨📚Learning Progress Celebrated at IHES ARAL Summer Remediation Culmination! 🎊

The 20-day ARAL Summer Remediation Program for 115 identified learners of Isidro Hulom Elementary School culminated today, June 2, 2026.

During the Culmination Program, learners showcased the literacy and numeracy skills they had developed throughout the intervention through various presentations.

The event was attended by the ARAL beneficiaries, their parents, Hon. Serentas and Hon. Castillon of the Barangay Kabatiol Council, tutor volunteers, and teachers.

Certificates of Recognition were awarded to learners who successfully completed the program. Likewise, tutor volunteers who contributed to the successful implementation of the program received Certificates of Commendation in recognition of their dedication and service.

Isidro Hulom Elementary School is proud of the significant progress demonstrated by the learners throughout the program. This achievement was made possible through the dedication of the tutor volunteers and teachers who generously extended their time, effort, and service to support the learners' growth and development.

The school also recognizes and appreciates the parents who continuously guided and supported their children at home by helping them accomplish assignments and practice their reading and numeracy skills. Their active involvement played a vital role in the learners' success.

Furthermore, the school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Kabatiol Council for their unwavering support, particularly for generously providing food for the culmination program, making the celebration more meaningful and memorable for everyone.

Isidro Hulom ES’ Brigada Eskwela 2026 and Enrolment Kick-Off Ceremony ✨

Parents, stakeholders, teachers, school staff, and community volunteers gathered today, June 1, 2026, for the Brigada Eskwela and Enrolment 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony at Isidro Hulom Elementary School.

The short program served as a meaningful start to this year’s Brigada Eskwela, bringing together partners and members of the community who share a common goal of preparing the school for the opening of classes. Participants expressed their commitment to actively support the activity through their time, effort, and resources to help create a safe, secure, clean, and conducive learning environment for every learner of Isidro Hulom Elementary School.

Tara, Basa concluded tutoring program at IHES ❤️🩷💙

After 20 meaningful days of learning, growth, and collaboration, the DSWD Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program has successfully concluded its implementation at Isidro Hulom Elementary School, benefiting 30 identified learners from Grade 1 and their parents through literacy support and learning interventions.

The program was made possible through the dedication and commitment of volunteer tutors from Mindanao State University–General Santos City (MSU-Gensan) and Cronasia Foundation College, Inc., who generously shared their time, knowledge, and passion for helping young learners develop their reading skills.

Throughout the program, learners showed improvement in literacy while parents actively participated in the Nanay-Tatay Teacher Sessions (YDW), gaining valuable insights on how to support their children's learning journey at home.

With the guidance and support of the school focal person, Elena R. Dava, and School Principal John Paul Generoso, the program provided enriching learning experiences that fostered not only academic growth but also stronger family involvement in education.

The culmination program, held on May 29, 2026, was attended by a representative of the DSWD focal person, Ma’am Grace, along with Barangay Kabatiol Councilors Cherry Serentas and Rudy Castillon. In their messages, they commended the successful implementation of the program and expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the tutors whose dedication and selfless service contributed greatly to building a more literate and empowered community.

Parents also took part in the celebration by sharing their heartfelt appreciation for the Tara, Basa! Program. They expressed how grateful they were for the opportunity to learn alongside their children and thanked the tutors for their patience, dedication, and genuine care in guiding them throughout the 20-day journey.

As the Tara, Basa! Program comes to a close, its impact will continue to resonate in the lives of the learners and their families. The skills gained, lessons learned, and partnerships formed throughout the 20-day journey serve as a testament to what can be achieved when schools, communities, and volunteers work together for a common goal.

Day 17 of Tara, Basa! 📚✨

Isidro Hulom Elementary School is truly grateful to be one of the recipient schools of the Tara, Basa! Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the Mindanao State University–General Santos.

As the program reaches its 17th day, we are happy to see our young learners becoming more confident in their reading skills. Beyond helping children learn to read, the program also equips parents with knowledge and strategies to better support their children's learning at home.

We are especially thankful to the hardworking tutor-volunteers from MSU-Gensan who have generously shared their time, patience, and passion with our learners. Their dedication has made a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families they serve.
