IN PHOTOS | SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC) SESSION 2026

Kablacan Integrated School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session on September 10–11, 2026, bringing together teaching personnel and learning support partners in a two-day professional learning activity.

On Day 1, Ma’am Gemelli Anne D. Ty facilitated the session on the Multi-Factored Assessment Tool (MFAT), providing participants with a deeper understanding of its purpose and importance in identifying and responding to the varied learning needs of learners.

This was followed by the I Love Reading session facilitated by Ma’am Princess Annessa Makasalong, which focused on strengthening literacy and effective strategies in teaching reading. The ARAL Tutors under TUPAD also had the opportunity to participate in the session, allowing them to further enhance their knowledge and skills in teaching reading.

On Day 2, Ma’am Marissa P. Saquin, MT-I, and Ma’am Analyn C. Serentas, MT-I, facilitated a session focused on the evidence-based use of the 12 Leverage Indicators for Classroom Observation, Coaching, and Professional Learning. The discussion emphasized the meaningful use of classroom observation evidence in supporting coaching, professional reflection, and the continuous improvement of teaching practices.

The two-day SLAC Session provided a valuable opportunity for teachers and learning support partners to deepen their knowledge, exchange practices, reflect on their experiences, and strengthen collaboration toward improving learner outcomes.

Kablacan Integrated School extends its sincere appreciation to all the resource speakers, facilitators, ARAL Tutors under TUPAD, and participating teachers for their active engagement and valuable contribution to the success of the activity.

Kablacan Integrated School proudly celebrates another meaningful milestone with the Turnover and Blessing of the School Covered Court, made even more significant by the presence of our Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Department of Education officials and personnel, barangay officials, PTA officers, learners, and the entire school community.

The turnover ceremony led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Zyrex C. Pacquiao, together with Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Visitacion S. Nambatac, underscoring the strong commitment of the Municipal Government to projects that promote the welfare, development, and education of learners and strengthen the school community.

We sincerely gave thanks to the members of the Sangguniang Bayan—Hon. Allan Ambrad, Hon. Bernard Prangos, Hon. Margarito Lanticse II, and Hon. Alamada Isla—as well as Mr. Ryan Llego, representative of the Municipal Engineering Office, for gracing this meaningful occasion and showing their continued support for the school.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude for the presence of our Department of Education-Division of Sarangani officials and personnel: Sir Gilbert B. Barrera, CESE, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Ma'am Shirley Cardinal, SGOD Chief; Sir Edmund Gulam, Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH; and Ma'am Taya A. Saling, Public Schools District Supervisor of Maasim 2. Their presence made the occasion even more meaningful and reflected the strong support of the Department of Education for initiatives that provide learners with a safer and more conducive learning environment.

Our deepest appreciation likewise goes to the Barangay Council led by Brgy. Capt. Rubelyn G. Sayson, together with Brgy. Kagawad Hon. Melodia Saligumba, Hon. Jovegilda Azucena, and Hon. Elizabeth Panerio, for their presence, assistance, and continued partnership with the school.

We also extend our warm appreciation to the SPTA officers led by Mr. Cennen Lastimoso, PTA President, for their unwavering support and active involvement in school programs and activities.

Special thanks are also given to all the teachers, our OIC-School Head, Ma’am Analyn Serentas, the PTA officers, and the SSLG officers, whose cooperation, assistance, and collective efforts helped make the program successful.

This milestone is a testament to what can be achieved through unity, cooperation, and shared commitment. One community, one success.

A special recognition goes to Cherish Mae D. Mongosera, who earned 1st Place in the Histopop Kasaysayan Quiz and qualified for the Regional Festival of Talents. Her achievement reflects the value of dedication, preparation, and perseverance in the pursuit of excellence.

We also extend our sincere congratulations to the learners and coaches who represented the school in Dokyuwento, SpeakUp, and Musabaqah. Their courage to compete, share their talents, and represent the school with pride is already an achievement worth celebrating.
