MAALAN PRIMARY SCHOOL | 2026 NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

Maalan Primary School successfully celebrated the 52nd Nutrition Month with the theme, "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!" in support of the Department of Education's School Health and Nutrition Program.

In line with the Schools Division Memorandum No. 316, s. 2026, the school conducted nutrition advocacy activities, integrated nutrition education in classroom instruction, showcased healthy food displays, and strengthened the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) to promote proper nutrition, food security, and environmental sustainability.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to our learners, parents, faculty & staff, PTA, and stakeholders for their active participation and unwavering support.

Together, we continue to nurture healthy learners and build a healthier, greener, and more sustainable future.

LOOK | School Lockdown Drill Successfully Conducted!

Maalan Primary School successfully conducted its School Lockdown Drill to simulate the appropriate response to an intruder on campus, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and prepared learning environment in line with DepEd's School Safety and Security Protocols.

This activity strengthened the preparedness of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and school community in responding to emergency situations through coordinated action and adherence to established safety procedures.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Barangay Local Government Unit (LGU) of Maalan and the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) for their invaluable support and active participation as the responding security team during the simulation. Your partnership greatly contributed to the success of this activity.

June 18, 2026 | Maalan Primary School participated in the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to promote disaster preparedness and safety awareness among learners and school personnel.

Together, we practiced the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, reinforcing our commitment to a safer and more resilient school community.
