Today we celebrate the National Flag Day to commemorate the date the national emblem was first unfurled after the Philippine Revolutionary Army defeated the Spanish forces in the Battle at Alapan, Imus, Cavite in 1898.

This is to give respect and reverence to our symbol of national sovereignty and solidarity. The Philippine flag is the embodiment of all our country’s ideals, culture and tradition.

Sama-sama nating ibandera ang bandila sa harap ng ating tahanan, opisina, at sa mga pampublikong lugar.

Mabuhay, kabataang Pilipino!

The Bureau of Learner Support Services – Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), in cooperation with Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. and RAFI Center for Leaders, will conduct a series of online kamustahan sessions called Musta na YOUth with youth leaders.

This activity aims to serve as an avenue for student leaders to discuss their realities and current challenges. It also aims to put a spotlight on the best practices that help the youth navigate through personal and community challenges. Further, it seeks to promote awareness, resilience, and a sense of shared vision and action among the youth to foster active leadership.
