The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XII – Livestock Program, in coordination with the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of M'lang, conducted a site validation for the proposed location of the Goat House Project in Purok 5, Barangay Nueva Vida.

Following the validation, the proposed site was found to be suitable for goat production due to its abundant forage supply. The area is also located more than 100 meters away from the nearest residence and is classified as an Agricultural Zone, making it an appropriate location for the project.

Thank you Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII), in collaboration with DA-RFO XII through its Livestock Program, for the successful three-day Training Seminar on Goat Production and Management for Livestock-based Enterprise Development (LEED) Beneficiaries in Region XII, conducted on July 14–16, 2026 at ATI-RTC XII, San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

We believe that the learnings gained from this activity will not only benefit the NVAWA representative who attended, but will also positively impact our entire association. Through sharing and implementation of these insights, we will continue to enhance our community goat farming practices. Thank you for this meaningful opportunity. 😇😇😇

The Monitoring and Evaluation Committee conducted a field visit to one of the Association's member under the Rice Production Financing Project. This program provides financial assistance exclusively to NVAWA members and officers engaged in rice production.

The project reflects the Association's commitment to its mission of empowering agricultural workers through partnerships and sustainable farming initiatives, helping improve the livelihoods and quality of life of its members.

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), led by Sir Russel Jed Dela Peña, conducted a mass registration of coconut farmers in Barangay Nueva Vida, M'lang to ensure they are officially registered in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS).

Through NCFRS registration, farmers can access various government programs and benefits, including scholarships, insurance, medical assistance, farm inputs, and training opportunities.

We extend our gratitude to all coconut farmers who took part in this registration activity and to the PCA for its continued commitment to supporting our local coconut farming community.
