Faculty members of Sultan Kudarat State University – Lutayan Campus participated in an Instructional Materials Development activity held on July 31 at Strawberry Guyabano Farm, led by Campus Director Lodifel C. Deypalan.

The activity focused on developing and enhancing instructional materials to support quality teaching and meaningful learning while fostering collaboration, creativity, and the sharing of best practices among faculty members.

𝐒𝐊𝐒𝐔 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐩-𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐓

Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) has earned national distinction after being recognized as the 8th top-performing Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program in the Philippines during the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). The recognition was formally conferred during the Oathtaking Ceremony for newly licensed professional teachers on July 18, 2026, at the Polomolok Gymnasium, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

The award was received by Dr. Marites B. Java, Vice President for Academic Affairs, together with Dr. Anesa P. Mangindra, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, and Dr. Joselyn C. Estrellan, BEED Program Chairperson, who represented the university in accepting this significant achievement.

SKSU attributed this accomplishment to the collective efforts of the College of Teacher Education community, particularly the implementation of an enhanced curriculum, comprehensive licensure examination preparation programs, dedicated faculty mentorship, and strengthened partnerships with educational institutions and stakeholders. University administrators highlighted that the Top 8 national recognition affirms SKSU’s continuing commitment to excellence in teacher education and quality professional preparation.

The achievement serves as an inspiration for the university to further advance its instructional practices, strengthen licensure support initiatives, and sustain collaborative efforts toward achieving greater success in future licensure examinations.
