The Book Month Culmination Activity at Maryknoll School of Lupon, Inc., with the theme “Reading is the Bridge to the Future Full of Hope,” kicked off with a lively parade around the school, leading everyone to the Dominicanis Gymnasium where the main program took place.

The heart of the celebration was the theatrical presentations, with each junior high grade level and each senior high strand performing their own creative skits. Students truly brought stories to life on stage, showing not just their understanding of the material but also their creativity, teamwork, and passion for literature.

The performances were full of energy and imagination, making everyone laugh, think, and feel inspired. It was a celebration that reminded everyone how reading can open new worlds, teach valuable lessons, and spark hope for the future—showing that books are not just pages to read, but bridges to learning, dreams, and endless possibilities.

The UN Culmination Activity at Maryknoll School of Lupon, Inc. was highlighted by a vibrant parade and a carefully planned program held at the Dominicanis Gymnasium, where students confidently represented various countries through imaginative costumes, national emblems, and informative exhibits.

The activity provided an opportunity for students to display their understanding of global concerns, diverse cultures, and international relations while developing skills in diplomacy, collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking.

Through engaging presentations, discussions, and performances, the students underscored the value of peace, unity, cooperation, and respect among nations. Overall, the event enhanced students’ global awareness, encouraged self-confidence and cultural appreciation, and served as a meaningful and enriching experience for the entire school community.

Science is experienced rather than just learned, so let's cultivate the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers!

Last September 30, 2025, the community gathered to celebrate SciMath Month with the theme “Science and Mathematics in Harmony: Decoding the Universe and Discovery,” through a vibrant showcase of creativity, intellect, and teamwork. The morning festivities featured the Mathematician Impersonation for boys and the Recycled Materials Gown Competition for girls, highlighting both mathematical brilliance and scientific innovation through sustainable fashion. In the afternoon, participants continued the excitement with an Amazing Race–style challenge that brought science and mathematics to life through interactive tasks and collaborative problem-solving. The celebration truly reflected the spirit of learning, ingenuity, and unity across the student body.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of the founder of the Order of Preachers—St. Dominic, a man of deep prayer, tireless preaching, and unwavering love for truth.

As members of the Dominican learning community, may we be inspired to teach with joy, learn with purpose, and live out truth with love.

Let us carry with us the 13th-century Dominican blessing—a prayer for all who seek to teach and be taught:

“May God the Father bless us,
May God the Son heal us,
May the God the Holy Spirit enlighten us,
And give us eyes to see with,
Ears to hear with,
Hands to do the work of God with;
Feet to walk with,
And a mouth to preach the word of Salvation with.

With catchy tunes and creative lyrics, each performance turned healthy habits into music that moved the crowd—and minds. More than just a contest, it was a celebration of how fun and inspiring nutrition can be when expressed through rhythm and teamwork. 💚🎵

Maryknoll School of Lupon’s Nutrition Day came alive with color and creativity during the Fruit Carving and Cooking Show 👩‍🍳. Students showcased their skills by turning fresh ingredients into stunning displays and tasty, nutritious dishes.

The judging panel had a tough time choosing winners, with each entry reflecting talent, teamwork, and a love for healthy living 🥗🏆. It was a delicious reminder that food can nourish both body and imagination.
