KALSUHAN Campus Journalist Soars High at DSPC🥈✨

A moment of glory of BCES as Charey Merria A. Ozurman, a Grade 6 KALSUHAN young journalist, clinched 2nd Place COPY READING AND HEADLINE WRITING (Filipino) in the Division Schools Press Conference held at Milaor Central School on November 25, 2025.

Her impressive feat stands her strength and wit and the steady guidance of her coach, Ma’am Melanie M. Garcia, whose mastery of the field and ability to know the ropes helped shape Charey’s winning performance. She will be representing Camarines Sur at the prestigious Regional Schools Press Conference this coming January 2026 in Legazpi City.

Equally deserving of recognition are fellow campus journalists Charles Adrian G. Belen (Photojournalism–English) and Richelle Ann V. Edorot (Sports Writing–Filipino), who braced the seasoned roosters of Camarines Sur Journalism. Though this year was not their moment of triumph, the experience, insights, and confidence they gained proved far more valuable than any medal could measure.

Heartfelt appreciation goes to the KALSUHAN SPAs Ma’am Giselle Joy L. Loquillano (Fil) and Ma’am Dhoralyn L. Albalate (Eng), to the ever-supportive teachers, parents, stakeholders and LGU headed by Hon. Mayor Christopher V. Jacinto, and to the dynamic school principal Ma’am Thelma J. Salvador, whose leadership continues to light the path for aspiring journalists.

From One or Two to Nine: BCES Triumphs at Sipocot North Press Conference

From sending just one or two campus journalists in the past, Bel-Cruz Elementary School made a bold leap this year, fielding nine determined young campus journalists at the first Congressional Schools Press Conference at Sipocot North Central School on November 21, 2025.

Guided by the diligence and dedication and patience 🔥of their three SPAs, these new campus journalists unveil remarkable skills, bringing home triumph and making their school’s name gleam in journalism.

Despite the tough competition and the fact that most of them were new, the young campus journalists of the school never down by their persistence and spirit to compete. Their effort stands out, earning well-deserved recognition and the experience laid a strong foundation for future journalism pursuit.
