𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬?
The ocean can glow blue at night? ✨

Tiny marine organisms called dinoflagellates can produce light through a chemical reaction known as bioluminescence. When the water is disturbed by waves and physical movements, they can create beautiful electric blue flashes in the waves. 🌊💙

This glow can also serve as a natural defense to startle predators, attract prey, and communicate or find mates.

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) proudly joined the Buwan ng Kabataan Tree Planting Activity organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Lupao.

📍 Brgy. Namulandayan, Lupao, Nueva Ecija

Together with fellow young people, school organizations and community partners, we took part in a meaningful effort to promote environmental awareness, youth participation, and care for our environment.

Through every seedling planted, we are reminded that even small actions can help create a greener and better future. Let’s continue to work together, take action, and make a difference, one tree at a time. 🌏💚

Every piece of waste we properly dispose of is one less threat to our oceans. Let’s reduce plastic use, dispose of our trash properly, and help keep our seas clean for future generations. 💙

🐟 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖?

One of the smallest fish in the world can be found in the Philippines!🇵🇭

Our waters are home to creatures that may be easy to miss but are truly fascinating. Meet the Dwarf Pygmy Goby (Pandaka pygmaea), a tiny freshwater fish found in the Philippines. At only around 9–11 millimeters long, it can be about the size of a grain of rice! 🍚🐟

Its small size is a reminder of just how much life can be found in our freshwater habitats. From the tiniest fish to the largest animals, every species contributes to the balance of nature.

So the next time you see a river, stream, or freshwater habitat, remember: there may be more life beneath the surface than we realize. 👀

Ang ating wika ay simbolo ng ating pagkatao at kultura. Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ipakita natin ang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa Wikang Filipino sa pamamagitan ng tamang paggamit nito sa ating araw-araw na buhay.

Sa panahon ng makabagong teknolohiya, maging responsable rin tayo sa paggamit ng AI bilang katuwang sa pag-aaral at pananaliksik, habang patuloy nating pinahahalagahan ang ating sariling wika.

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

🌽𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪?

Corns are the shape-shifter in the food world. Corns can be classified as vegetable, fruit, and grain depending on how it is harvested and used

Botanically, it is actually a fruit according to scientists because it develops from the flower's o***y and contains a seed. However, corn is actually the same family as wheat, rice, and barley.

But when corn is harvested younger and consumed fresh, nutritionally it is a starchy vegetable. That is why sweet corn is generally treated as a vegetable.

When corn matures completely and dries up, it becomes a whole grain that can be used to produce many different foods including cornmeal, cereal, and many more.

🥗 "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!"

Ngayong Buwan ng Nutrisyon, ating pagtibayin ang ating pangako sa pagkakaroon ng sapat, masustansya, at ligtas na pagkain para sa lahat. Ang wastong nutrisyon ay mahalagang pundasyon ng malusog na pangangatawan, malinaw na pag-iisip, at mas matatag na pamayanan.

Nawa'y magsimula ang pagbabago sa ating mga simpleng gawain—pagpili ng masustansyang pagkain, pag-iwas sa pag-aaksaya ng pagkain, at paghikayat sa ating pamilya at komunidad na mamuhay nang mas malusog. Sa sama-samang pagkilos, makakamit natin ang isang lipunang may sapat na nutrisyon para sa bawat Pilipino.

💚 Sama-sama nating isulong ang wastong nutrisyon tungo sa mas malusog at mas maunlad na kinabukasan para sa lahat.
