EPS in Science and DIC Monitor Readiness for the Opening of the Science Curriculum at Luna Central School

In preparation for the opening of the Science curriculum, Luna Central School welcomed the monitoring visit of the Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in Science, Maribel M. Ancheta, EdD together with Luna District In-Charge, Sir Federico Deculing.
The visit aimed to ensure the school's readiness in delivering quality Science instruction for the incoming school year.
During the monitoring, Dr. Ancheta and Sir Deculing reviewed the school's instructional preparations, including learning resources, teachers' lesson plans, classroom readiness, and the implementation of Science learning standards. They also provided technical assistance and constructive recommendations to further strengthen the delivery of Science education.
The monitoring served as an opportunity to address concerns, and align instructional strategies with the goals of the Science curriculum. The collaborative effort highlighted the shared commitment of the Schools Division Office, district officials, and the school in promoting effective, learner-centered Science instruction.
Luna Central School Principal II, Dr. Valen F. Cabacungan played a vital role by overseeing the overall implementation of the monitoring activity, ensuring that teachers and learning resources were fully prepared for the opening of classes.

Luna Central School nakiisa sa Project TreeTY sa pagdiriwang ng National Disaster Resilience Month

LUNA, ISABELA – Nakiisa ang Luna Central School sa sabayang Project TreeTY (Tree, Thank You) Tree Planting Activity na isinagawa sa Luna Oval Ground bilang bahagi sa pagdiriwang ng National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) ngayong Hulyo.
Isinagawa ang aktibidad alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 29, s. 2017, na nagtatakda ng pagdiriwang ng NDRM tuwing Hulyo upang isulong ang kahandaan sa sakuna, pagpapalakas ng katatagan ng komunidad, at pagpapagaan sa epekto ng climate change. Kaugnay nito, hinikayat ng Schools Division Office ang lahat ng paaralan na magsagawa ng sabayang tree-planting activity sa pamamagitan ng Project TreeTY (Tree, Thank You).
Aktibong nakibahagi rin ang mga opisyal ng Supreme Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), at Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), kasama ang mga ilang g**o at iba pang kawani ng paaralan. Sama-sama silang nagtanim ng mga punla sa mga itinalagang bahagi ng paaralan bilang simbolo ng kanilang malasakit sa kalikasan at suporta sa adbokasiya ng pangangalaga sa kapaligiran.
Layunin ng Project TreeTY na mahikayat ang bawat miyembro ng komunidad ng paaralan na maging aktibong katuwang sa pangangalaga ng kalikasan sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanim at pag-aalaga ng mga puno. "Inaasahan ding makatutulong ang mga itinanim na puno sa pagpapabuti ng kapaligiran, pagbabawas ng epekto ng pagbabago ng klima, at pagpapaigting ng kahandaan ng komunidad sa mga sakuna," saad ni Dr. Valen F. Cabacungan, punongg**o sa paaralan.
Ipinakita ng matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng aktibidad ang pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ng mga magulang, mag-aaral, g**o, at pamunuan ng paaralan sa pagtataguyod ng isang ligtas, luntian, at matatag na pamayanan.

Luna Central School Conducts School-Based Palaro 2026

Luna Central School successfully conducted its School-Based Palaro 2026, bringing together learners in a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and excellence. The event provided our young athletes with the opportunity to showcase their talents, determination, and passion in various sporting events while fostering camaraderie and healthy competition.

Isinagawa ang Parents' Orientation kaninang umaga sa Luna Central School Multi Purpose Hall upang ipaliwang sa mga magulang ang mga pinakabagong DepEd Orders at mga alintuntunin ngayong taong panuruan.

Tinalakay nina Dr. Valen F. Cabacungan, punungg**o, Lany G. Cabacungan, Master Teacher-II at Edna T. Lampitoc, Master Teacher-I ang mga Three-Term School Calendar (DO 009, s. 2026), Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K-12 Basic Education Program (DO 015, s. 2026) at ang Guidelines on Learning Continuity in Emergencies (DO 014, s. 2026).

Nagtapos ang pagpupulong sa isang panawagan para sa mas matatag na kolaborasyon ng mga magulang at paaralan upang matagumpay na maisakatuparan ang mga bagong direktiba ng kagawaran para sa kabutihan ng mga mag-aaral.

Learning Resource Education Supervisor Aileen Joy Mora spearheads the monitoring initiative today, marking the official rollout of the opening block for SY 2026-2027.
This division wide monitoring is part of the DepEd's proactive stance to ensure schools are fully prepared to accommodate the surge of returning learners and to minimize early-term operational bottlenecks.
Armed with standardized monitoring tool, Mora conducted walkthroughs on curriculum alignment, enrollment and instructional resources.
She also spent a portion to visit classroom atmospheres and commended for dedicating the opening block to routine building and psychosocial support rather than diving immediately into high-pressure testing. "Establishing an empathetic, low-anxiety transition space is foundational to maintaining high pupil-ratio and focus for the rest of the school year," Mora said.
Along with EPS in LR Aileen Joy Mora, EdD were Luna District PIC, Federico Deculing,
PDO-II, Kathleen Glo Bautista Galleto.
Meanwhile, Luna Central School Principal-II, Dr. Valen F. Cabacungan thanked the monitoring team for the commendations, recommendations and technical assistance provided for the betterment of the school community.
