🌱🎓 Take your expertise further through the SEARCA Graduate Scholarships 2027–2028!

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications for the Master’s and Doctoral Scholarships in Agriculture and Related Fields for School Year 2027–2028 offered by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA).

The scholarship program is open to qualified Filipino nationals who are 40 years old or below for the Master’s program and 45 years old or below for the Doctoral program at the time of application. Proposed thesis or dissertation topics should align with SEARCA’s mandate of advancing agricultural and rural development in Southeast Asia.

Please note that only applicants who are shortlisted and endorsed by CHED will be invited to proceed with the online application through the SEARCA Scholarship Portal. Applicants must also have secured admission to their chosen university to be considered for the scholarship.

The SEAMEO Secretariat and UNESCO-ICHEI are extending the call for Founding University Members of the International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) Southeast Asia Task Force to higher education institutions across the 11 SEAMEO Member Countries.

🏛️ Why should your university apply?

Founding University Members will have the opportunity to:
🔹 Help shape the strategic direction and regional priorities of the IIOE Southeast Asia Regional Centre
🔹 Bring national and institutional priorities into regional discussions
🔹 Collaborate with universities and partners across Southeast Asia

🌱 Eligible Institutions:
Recognised public, private, open, specialised, technology-oriented, teacher education, and technical & vocational higher education institutions in the 11 SEAMEO Member Countries.

🇰🇷 Selected institutions will also participate in an in-person immersion, orientation, and strategic planning programme in Gumi City, Republic of Korea, with opportunities for university and industry learning and regional collaboration.

🇺🇸🎓 Calling on Filipino academics and professionals! Advance your research and teaching journey in the United States through the Fulbright Program.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is pleased to inform interested parties of the call for applications to the 2027–2028 Fulbright Advanced Research and University Lecturing Program, administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (Fulbright Philippines).

The program provides Filipino academics and professionals with opportunities to undertake advanced research or university lecturing at higher education institutions, non-profit research institutes, and government institutions in the United States. Grantees may also teach courses and receive support for exchange visa processing, round-trip international airfare, monthly maintenance, professional development, books and supplies, and health and accident insurance.
