San Isidro Elementary School successfully held its Environmental Camp 2025 organized by YES-O and SELG with the theme “Sustaining Nature, Protecting Our Future: Eco-Solid Waste Management for a Greener Tomorrow.” It was a day filled with meaningful activities where our learners showed creativity, teamwork, and care for the environment.

One of the highlights was the Eco-Camp Challenge, where learners transformed their camp areas into eco-friendly spaces. After a tough competition, Grade 1 proudly took home the title of Most Eco-Camp!

A very insightful lecture on Ecological Solid Waste Management was also conducted, focusing on the importance of waste segregation and its impact on the environment. Our learners were inspired and informed by our resource speakers—Ms. Kristine Mae Dimaya, Ms. Kheysie Bulong, Mr. Bryan C. Juan, and Mr. Benie Ramiscal Jr.—all under the leadership of the MENRo Designate of Luna, Mr. Daniel Jose Viernes.

The day got even more exciting with our Trashion Show, where learners confidently modeled outfits made from recycled materials. Out of 39 participants, 16 were recognized as Best in Poise for their grace and creativity. Here are our Creative Attire Winners:

🥇 First Place: Jenny Daundo (Grade 7) and Reign Danielle J. Castro Kindergarten Representative
🥈 Second Place: Janzen Faith Marzon (Grade 6) and Adrian Cogaed, Grade 7 Representative
🥉 Third Place: Quinn Isenbriee B. D e la Cruz, Kindergarten Representative and Jeth Alfonso Zion Rebuelto (Grade 3)

We are deeply grateful to our ever-supportive parents and guardians for their constant encouragement, and to our generous donors who helped fund the prizes. A special thanks to our committed school leaders—School Principal Leah A. Marquez and Master Teacher Imelda S. Go—for their unwavering support in making this event a success.

Together, we continue to raise young champions for the environment and take steps toward a greener, cleaner future.

Our K-3 learners were all about fun and learning with activities like Spelling Bee, Coloring, Drawing, Read-A-Thon, and Draw & Tell. So much creativity in one room! ✏️🖍

Meanwhile, the big kids in Grades 4-7 showed off their brains in the Science & Math Quiz Bee, made stunning posters, sang their hearts out, and joined the Read-A-Thon. 🎶📚

🎉 Children’s Day Highlights:
Every grade level brought their A-game with lively dances that had us all smiling! 💃🕺

But the highlight? Our Career Guidance Show! Learners strutted the runway, showing off uniforms of the professions they want to pursue. We had future doctors, engineers, teachers, flight attendants, pilots, chef, businessman and more in the spotlight! 🩺👩‍🏫👷‍♂️
