Busel-Busel Elementary School successfully conducted the Pre-Evaluation of PROJECT GARY NP (Gulayan and Recycling: Yaman ng Paaralan), highlighting the school's commitment to environmental conservation, sustainable gardening, and innovative recycling practices.

The evaluation was graciously conducted by the dedicated representatives from the Local Government Unit of Luna, under the leadership of Mayor Gary N. Pinzon. Their visit provided an opportunity to assess the school's accomplishments in promoting a clean, green, and eco-friendly learning environment through the integration of gardening and recycling initiatives.

During the activity, the evaluators toured the school's vegetable gardens, recycled-material projects, and beautification efforts, which were made possible through the collective support of teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders. The project reflects the school's vision of instilling environmental responsibility, resourcefulness, and community participation among its learners.

In line with the school's commitment to environmental sustainability, nutrition advocacy, and community participation, Busel-Busel Elementary School will conduct a Malunggay Tree Planting Activity as part of its Environmental Awareness and School Greening Program.

The activity aims to promote environmental stewardship among learners, strengthen community involvement, and encourage the cultivation of malunggay as a sustainable source of nutrition and health benefits.

SELG, YES-O, and BKD Officers Unite for a Cleaner and Greener School Community

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers, led by their President Brielle Cerise Rabe, successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive as part of their commitment to promoting environmental responsibility, leadership, and community service.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the SELG Officers, YES-O Officers, and BKD Officers, together with the dedicated teaching staff of Busel-Busel Elementary School, under the leadership of Mrs. Magie V. Barbado, OIC–Office of the School Head.

Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared vision of maintaining a clean and healthy learning environment, the participants demonstrated that even small actions can create a lasting impact. The activity not only enhanced the cleanliness of the school grounds but also strengthened the spirit of volunteerism, cooperation, and environmental stewardship among learners and teachers alike.

Today, July 16, 2026, we commemorate the 36th Anniversary of the 1990 Luzon Earthquake, a devastating tragedy that shook Luzon and left a lasting mark on the lives of many Filipinos.

We remember those who lost their lives, honor the courage of the survivors, and recognize the strength of communities that stood together in the face of adversity.

May this day remind us that while we cannot prevent earthquakes, we can prepare for them. Let us continue to build safer communities, strengthen our disaster preparedness, and help one another during times of crisis.
