BE 2026 Powers Up School Readiness for Class Opening

As Kuya Randy, the Watchman, opened the gate at 6 am today, some 4Ps parent-volunteers entered the school premises and looked for weedy areas to clean. They came early to avoid the discomforting heat of the Sun. This was his power story when I arrived on the first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026.

Two PNP-Luna personnel showing up at the school facade relaxed me for a safer day in the middle of a very busy hour while some parents, learners, and new faces of stakeholders were cleaning, weeding, and pruning some trees. These working volunteers eased my worries of not finishing the tasks for five days to target the assessed school needs before the opening of classes.

When I entered the office, everyone was so agile entertaining enrollees as today also commenced the Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026. Timid and nervous small faces greeted me with smile greetings from their adult guides. They’re actually incoming Grade 7 learners. I cheered them up and shouted my warmest welcome to Luna General Comprehensive High School.

I roamed around to check for the ongoing work, and it filled my heart with joy to see such overwhelming support from the parents headed by the ever active SPTA President, Alfredo A. Badua, who was manning the canteen renovation that time.

After two hours, I called for the work to temporarily stop and have the volunteers take their simple snacks before the start of the kick-off program.
