Bayugao Elementary School teachers were honored to be part of the Learning Action Cell (LAC) session conducted by San Isidro Norte last September 9-10, 2026!

​The collaborative session provided insights on how to improve instruction to raise learners' achievement through the following sessions:
*Development of PISA-Like Questions
*Effective Literacy and Numeracy Strategies
*Differentiated Strategies for Learning
*Using Content Knowledge in Cross-Curricular Contexts

With this, they were able to hone their skills and update their knowledge in teaching to further assist the country's youth in becoming globally competitive. The Learning Action Cell is truly a means to foster a culture of lifelong learning, not only for the teachers but also for the young learners.

📖📈 Strengthening Foundational Skills Through Dedicated Monitoring and Support!

Bayugao Elementary School proudly highlights the ongoing implementation of the ARAL Program and RMA—initiatives dedicated to strengthening our learners’ foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.

Our EPSs, Dr. Fredalyn P. Abulencia and Dr. Jane Ramos, conducted classroom visits, engaged directly with learners, and provided valuable insights and recommendations to further strengthen our reading and numeracy interventions.

Through the collaborative efforts of our Division Supervisors and dedicated school faculty, we continue to identify learning gaps, provide responsive interventions, and empower every learner to progress in literacy and numeracy with confidence.

Under the "Outreach Program LAB in Action - Project Aruga," with Ms. Lilibeth A. Dilag as the adviser of OLCFI PRO CAR, and the "PNP OPLAN BES" (Bisita Eskwela) initiative, local police and community leaders visited Bayugao Elementary School to conduct vital Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns. These included an interactive session on the Anti-Bullying Act (RA 10627) to promote a respectful school environment and a specialized session on the Awareness of Bombs that Kill lives and Destroy properties (ABKD) to teach safety protocols.

To cap off the event, law enforcement and program partners strengthened community ties by handing out free school supplies and snacks.

The school administrators and stakeholders extended their heartfelt gratitude for the valuable lessons and generous support provided to the young learners.

Bayugao Elementary School successfully united wellness and sportsmanship during its joint Nutrition Month Celebration cm Intramurals.

The event kicked off with a vibrant community parade, followed by a school-wide clean-up drive and a high-energy Zumba warm-up.

Academic and creative talents shone as Key Stage 1 learners participated in a coloring and drawing contest, while Key Stage 2 students tested their expertise in cooking and in the Nutri-Quiz. The celebration concluded with an exciting sports fest, highlighting teamwork, agility, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle among pupils.

Our amazing learners at Bayugao Elementary School brought creativity and health to life by showcasing unique and colorful costumes made entirely from fresh vegetables and local produce!

Beyond the fun costumes, our students also enjoyed engaging educational coloring activities centered on healthy eating habits. Events like this help our children learn the importance of proper nutrition and fresh foods from an early age.
