MASS CELEBRATION | DAY 2 OF THE ANNUAL RETREAT 2026

The second day of the Annual Retreat 2026 of the Maryhill College, Inc. Personnel culminated in a beautiful evening of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving.

The community first gathered in prayer through the Holy Rosary, entrusting our lives, intentions, and the entire retreat journey to the loving intercession of the Blessed Mother. This was followed by the solemn Vespers Prayer, allowing everyone to pause, give thanks, and place the day once more in Godโ€™s hands.

The evening reached its spiritual culmination in the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph Mendoza, with Rev. Fr. Raul Macaraig and Rev. Fr. Rolly Pabellano joining as concelebrants.

As we gather around the altar, we are reminded that a retreat is not merely a time to step away from our daily responsibilitiesโ€”it is an invitation to draw closer to God, listen to His voice, and allow Him to renew our hearts.

May the Eucharist strengthen us to return to our mission with renewed faith, greater humility, deeper compassion, and a heart ready to serve.

May we continue to carry the grace of this retreat beyond these moments of prayerโ€”into our workplace, our relationships, our responsibilities, and every person entrusted to our care.

๐Ÿ™ May Christ remain at the center of our lives, our work, and our mission as one Maryhill community.

Praying together. Growing together. Serving together.
Renewed in Christ.

HAPPENING NOW | SESSION 4 OF THE ANNUAL RETREAT OF MARYHILL COLLEGE PERSONNEL

The Maryhill College community continues its journey of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal in the fourth session of the Annual Retreat, guided by our retreat master, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mendoza.

This session brings us closer to the comforting image of Christ as the Good Shepherd, through the words of Psalm 23:

โ€œThe Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.โ€

In the journey of life, we are reminded that we are never truly alone. Just as a shepherd lovingly guides and cares for his flock, God walks with us, leads us, provides for us, and restores us when we are weary.

ยซโ€œHe leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul.โ€ยป

Our reflection reminds us that love requires commitment. โ€œBawal mag-mahal ang tamad. Ang pagmamahal ay hindi basta-basta.โ€ True love calls us to care, to persevere, to serve, and to give of ourselvesโ€”not only in our personal lives, but also in our mission and relationships within the workplace.

And as we pause to look at our own journey, we are invited to ask:

Saan ka galing?
Saan ka pupunta?
At sino ang huhusga saโ€™yo?

There may be many judgments and standards in this world, but ultimately, our deepest accountability is before God. There is no perfect measure on earth; the final judgment belongs to the One who knows our hearts, our struggles, our intentions, and our entire journey.

May we continue to trust the Shepherd who knows the way even when we cannot see it.

May He guide our steps, calm our hearts, restore our souls, and lead us toward a life of faith, love, service, and purpose.

๐Ÿ™ The Lord is our Shepherd. We may not know everything about the journey, but we can trust the One who leads us.

Renewed in faith. Guided by love. Walking with the Good Shepherd.

HAPPENING NOW | SESSION 3 OF THE ANNUAL RETREAT OF MARYHILL COLLEGE PERSONNEL

The journey of reflection and renewal continues as the Maryhill College community gathers for the third session of its Annual Retreat, with our retreat master, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mendoza.

This session invites us to reflect on the Seven Deadly Sinsโ€”not simply as faults to recognize, but as invitations to examine our hearts, choices, relationships, and the way we live out our vocation each day.

As we bring these reflections into the realities of our workplace and daily lives, may we become more aware of the attitudes and actions that can distance us from God and from one another.

Through prayer, humility, and sincere self-reflection, may we learn to replace pride with humility, envy with gratitude, anger with compassion, and indifference with love.

May this retreat remind us that true transformation begins within. As we allow God to renew our hearts, may we become instruments of peace, understanding, integrity, and love in our workplace and in the wider community.

๐Ÿ™ May we not only know what is right, but have the courage and grace to live it.

Renewed hearts. Transformed lives. A stronger community in Christ.

HAPPENING NOW | SESSION 2 OF THE ANNUAL RETREAT OF MARYHILL COLLEGE PERSONNEL

The journey of faith continues as the Maryhill College community gathers for the second session of the Annual Retreat, guided by our retreat master, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mendoza.

Todayโ€™s reflection invites us to look deeply into the โ€œunfairnessโ€ of lifeโ€”the moments of struggle, disappointment, questions, and circumstances we may not always understand. Yet, in the midst of these realities, we are reminded that God sees beyond what we see, and His thoughts are greater than our thoughts.

As we surrender our questions and uncertainties to Him, may we learn to see life not only through our own understanding, but through the eyes of faith.

May Godโ€™s thoughts become our thoughts, His ways become our ways, and His love become the light that guides us through every season of life.

May this retreat renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and inspire us to return to our mission with hope, humility, compassion, and a renewed commitment to serve.

๐Ÿ™ โ€œBe still, and know that I am God.โ€ โ€” Psalm 46:10
