Every new chapter begins somewhere. For these students, it begins with a choiceโto step forward and be entrusted with something bigger than themselves.
Today, we welcome the newly elected BSPA Department Student Council Officers, students with their own stories, aspirations, and reasons for choosing to serve. From sitting in classrooms as students to standing as representatives of an entire department, they now take on roles that carry not only responsibilities, but the trust of the people they will serve.
From this moment on, their positions become more than titles. They become a promise to listen, to show up, and to serve the department that placed its trust in them.
Once again, congratulations to our newly elected officers. May this journey remind you that leadership is, above all, a commitment to serve.

With the BSPA Departmental Election and YPADS (Young Public Administrators Society) Election officially concluded, we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who took part in this yearโs electoral process.
To every student representative who cast their vote, participated in the discussions, and exercised their right to choose, thank you for making your voice heard. Your participation reflects not only your responsibility as a student, but also the values of democratic participation and good governance that we continue to learn and practice as public administrators.
As John C. Maxwell once said, โA leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.โ
May our newly elected leaders carry their responsibilities with integrity, humility, and accountability. May they lead not for recognition, but for service; not simply to hold a position, but to make a meaningful difference in the BSPA community.
The votes have been counted, the results have been declared, and a new chapter of leadership now begins.
