I've been working full-time at Ultimate Member as a Lead WordPress Engineer for almost a decade. I haven’t spoken to my boss on calls or met him in person (hopefully this year when I visit Europe), but he still trusts and supports everything I contribute to the company.

In the past, I worked at really strict companies, with frequent call meetings just to catch up. It was exhausting to hear about my previous bosses( not all ) living in luxury.

Even without tracking or time-logging apps, I always do my best to show results and take care of my teammates (who I only communicate with via chat). I bring new ideas to the table and seek advice from everyone, even those new to the team. I value ideas from everyone, especially those below me because sometimes they notice issues I miss. I always trust my team. If a teammate is struggling, I check in with them and suggest they take days off if needed.

Our company fully embraces work-life balance. There was a time when I was juggling multiple jobs, and the company doubled my salary so I could focus and maintain balance.

I thank God for blessing me with a company that suits me and provides an environment where I can thrive.
