To ensure campus safety and health, all Face-to-Face classes will shift to Distance Learning starting August 17, 2026. Office operations are also suspended during this week.

Aug 17–18 (Mon–Tue): Distance Learning (Online & Modular)
Aug 19–20 (Wed–Thu): Asynchronous Learning
Aug 21 (Fri): No Classes

NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

SHIFT TO ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING

August 10, 2026

In line with the announcement issued by the Office of the City Mayor of Lucena City, Holy Rosary Catholic School, Inc. announces the suspension of face-to-face classes on August 10, 2026.

To ensure the continuity of learning, all classes shall shift to ASYNCHRONOUS MODE OF LEARNING.

Students are advised to:

>Check their respective learning platforms and official class group chats for instructions and learning materials.
>Accomplish the assigned activities and learning tasks provided by their teachers.
>Observe the submission schedules and deadlines given by their respective teachers.
>Remain attentive to further announcements from the school administration.

Teachers are requested to provide appropriate learning activities and guidance to their students through the school's designated communication and learning platforms.

The safety, well-being, and continuity of learning of our students and personnel remain our primary concerns.

We ask everyone for their cooperation, understanding, and continued support.

Holy Rosary Catholic School heartily congratulates our beloved Principal, Mrs. Sonia M. Gutierrez, for receiving the prestigious GAWAD HUWARANG LINGKOD NG MSK!

This well-deserved recognition was awarded this morning, August 8, 2026, during the Diocesan MSK General Assembly at the Lucena Convention Center—part of the Diocese of Lucena’s 75th Anniversary celebration.

In her absence, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand I. Maano (Parish Priest of Holy Face of Jesus Parish, Lucena City) humbly received the award on her behalf.

We celebrate this wonderful achievement with you, Ma’am Sonia! May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly!

We would like to inform our dear parents, guardians, and the school community that following the earthquake experienced today, all students, faculty members, and school personnel are safe and accounted for.

As part of our commitment to the safety and well-being of everyone, the school immediately implemented its emergency response procedures. After ensuring that all members of the school community were safe and that the situation was stable, students were dismissed and sent home immediately as a precautionary measure.

We thank our students, teachers, staff, and parents for their calm cooperation and prompt response during the incident. We also appreciate everyone's continued trust and support as we prioritize the safety of our school community.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and to monitor official advisories from the appropriate government agencies regarding any aftershocks or further updates.

May God continue to keep us all safe under the loving protection of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
