On August 20, we celebrate the 65th Charter Anniversary of the City of Lucena, commemorating the historic date of its establishment as a city.

As we mark this significant milestone, may we continue to honor Lucena’s rich history, celebrate its progress, and look forward to a stronger and brighter future.

On August 19, we commemorate Quezon Day in honor of President 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐋. 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧, known as the “𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞” for his significant role in promoting and establishing a national language for the Filipino people.

Today, we honor his enduring legacy of leadership, patriotism, and service to the nation, as we continue to value the Filipino language as an important part of our national identity.

In reference to the announcement of the Honorable Mayor of Lucena City regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels due to the inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), please be informed of the following arrangement: Alternative Learning Mode

Classes shall be conducted through synchronous online and/or asynchronous learning beginning 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 onwards, and throughout 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Everyone is encouraged to prioritize safety and continue monitoring our official announcements for further updates and advisories.

Please be informed that there will be no classes and office transactions on the following dates in observance of the respective holidays:

• August 19, 2026 (Wednesday) – Quezon Day
• August 20, 2026 (Thursday) – Lucena Day
• August 21, 2026 (Friday) – Ninoy Aquino Day
• August 31, 2026 (Monday) – National Heroes Day

Regular classes and office transactions will resume on the next working day following each holiday.
