School’s Reading Intervention Program
Re-Launching of KAPA Read (Kamag-aaral Partners in Reading)

In the spirit of nurturing a passion for reading and literacy, LCNHS - Silangang Mayao Extension recently re-launched its much-anticipated reading intervention program, KAPA (Kamag-aaral Partners in Reading). The event coincided with the school's enthusiastic celebration of National Reading Month, embodying a commitment to empower students through the magic of books.
This exciting initiative was orchestrated by the dedicated efforts of Ms. Janela Marie F. Pabellano, the English Reading Coordinator, and Ms. Johnabelle E. Donasco, the Filipino Reading Coordinator.

The re-launch of the KAPA program represents a vital milestone for LCNHS Silangang Mayao Extension. KAPA has always been a testament to the school's commitment to fostering a love for reading and nurturing students' literary skills.

The program kick-started on Monday, November 6, with an enlightening meeting held in the school's Learning Resource Room. In attendance were enthusiastic students eager to embark on their reading journey.
Ms. Pabellano passionately shared their insights into the KAPA program and how it is meticulously designed to enhance reading skills, comprehension, and critical thinking among students. They emphasized that KAPA aims not only to instill a love for reading but also to equip students with the essential skills that will serve them well in their academic pursuits and beyond.

As we celebrate National Reading Month, we are reminded of the immense power of books, and we look forward to the impact that KAPA will have on the students of LCNHS Silangang Mayao Extension. The love for reading ignited during this month will undoubtedly continue to shine brightly in the hearts and minds of students for years to come.
