Today, August 21, we celebrate 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲 in accordance with Republic Act No. 9256, which declares this date a special nonworking holiday to commemorate the death anniversary of former 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘰 “𝘕𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘺” 𝘚. 𝘈𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘑𝘳. on August 21, 1983. 🇵🇭

Ninoy Aquino's patriotism and dedication to democracy continue to inspire Filipinos. Despite the risks, he spoke out against injustice and advocated for freedom and human rights. His sacrifice became a significant catalyst for the restoration of democracy in the Philippines, reminding us of the importance of standing up for truth, justice, and the welfare of our nation.
