In the Philippines, 9.7% of girls between the ages of 15 and 19 are already involved in some sort of union, making our country rank tenth with the highest number of girls married before the age of 18, as stated by the Girls Not Brides organization.

There are cases of arranged marriages that are not documented. Not only in the Philippines but all over the world. Girls as young as 10 years old are married to older men, and approximately every 7 seconds, one girl under the age of 15 is married.

There are numerous websites that Media Technology offers where our information is needed. Have you ever wondered if it's safe to enter our information there? The 21st century offers a world of cutting-edge technology; Is it okay? Is it secured? It's important for us to ensure that our personal information is ๐’”๐’‚๐’‡๐’† ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’”๐’†๐’„๐’–๐’“๐’†๐’… so that hackers cannot use it to lure other people.

This editorial cartoon depicts a concerned crowd, reflecting The mention of Republic Act No. 10173 highlights legal aspects. It urges action to defend digital privacy amid growing risks. At its core, this editorial cartoon functions as a call to action. It prompts us to be proactive defenders of our digital privacy in the face of ever-growing risks in the technological age. It serves as a reminder that merely being aware of the issue isn't enough; we must take steps to protect our personal data and advocate for strong data privacy measures in our increasingly interconnected world.

๐‘ผ๐’๐’๐’๐’„๐’Œ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’‘๐’๐’˜๐’†๐’“ ๐’๐’‡ ๐’‘๐’“๐’Š๐’—๐’‚๐’„๐’š: The shield represents our digital defense, protecting our personal data from the worried crowd. The lock at the center symbolizes the strength of secure mechanisms, reminding us of the importance of actively guarding our privacy in the digital world. As individuals, we hold the power and responsibility to safeguard our information and maintain control over our online presence. Let's proactively protect our privacy and ensure our data remains secure.
