🎬✨ Embracing Excellence: Integrating Theoretical Foundation in Modern Nursing Practice

This year’s much-awaited NDLS Film Festival was held at SACLI AVR today, bringing all the talented BSN 1A, 1B, and 1E students together to display their short films. It was an event that truly showcased their creativity, teamwork, and dedication, proving that nursing students are not just compassionate caregivers but also innovative storytellers.

A special part of the event was the awarding of the Gawad Mira Bianca Altez Decena Best Film Award. A prestigious award named after Ms. Mira Bianca Altez Decena, a former clinical instructor and NDLS adviser whom all students loved, who initiated the same event last year. She began this event with a vision in giving the students an opportunity to use their talents in creating valuable stories. Her passion for teaching and the inspiration she brought to her students led to a lasting impact on all the students she guided. This award goes out to her legacy and commitment to inspiring future nurses.

We are also thrilled to introduce Mr. Kirk Cyrus Nada as our new NDLS Advisor! His experience and dedication to supporting students made him a perfect fit for the role and we’re excited for the future and all the great things ahead.

Congratulations to all the participants and awardees! Your hard work and creative minds have made this event very special. 👏🎉
